Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Julia @Scrumptious SolentSouthampton, UK4,298 contributionsA lovely green oasis in the city, this is a super river to walk along and enjoy seeing the botanic gardens, statues, people punting on the river - and a bit of wildlife too. We enjoyed seeing the longfin eels peeping out from the shadows - very large and impressive!Written 25 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Teague K1 contributionAwesome trip and beautiful scenery, the cafe had a couple of vegan options. But the hill from the Diamond Harbour jetty to the cafe is steep and might be too much for elderly people, especially on a hot day. I wish there were a shuttle of something up the hill.Written 4 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jonique LifeAustralia1,604 contributionsWe did the Governors Bay Heritage Walk. This is a beautiful path that is dog friendly and very easy. We walked this path everyday while we were staying near Governors Bay and it’s so different of the high and low tides, the views are very beautiful and it’s a dirt path. It was approx 3km flat path to get to Governors Bay from Allandale and you can add more onto it. It is approx 8km return.

- SummerasalifestyleMalibu, CA3,550 contributionsA cool lil pond in the middle of Hadley park. It’s quiet and serene. Good for all age groups and families.
Small. You can walk around it in less than 15 minutes. Watch out for geese and duck poopWritten 4 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Two old gravel pits that are used by local groups in summer for water sports. Great areas for picnics and walking. Clean and well serviced toilet facilities. A good location for children to splash around the shallows in the summer, or a good place for a brisk walk in the winter. A bit of a hidden gem.Written 27 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
