I should start by being clear, this trip was the second we experienced with NZSI this week. The first was a day trip to Arthurs Pass taking the optional train ride out and using their transport to return. In both case we were picked up and dropped off at our accommodation.

First of all I should mention our guide/driver Anuj. He was very pleasant, mannerly, considerate, punctual and professional. The vehicles used were both modern, comfortable and well maintained. When we were picked up we were provided with a face mask, hand sanitizer, wet wipes and some candies.

I could really write a great deal of both experiences but I really want to keep your attention. Anuj kept us occupied with his incredible knowledge of the towns and sights and stopped regularly for photo stops and the occasional breaks for coffees, lunches and shopping. There was never any pressure to hurry.

I would definitely recommend this company and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I purchased the Christhurch Pass in advance of our visit to Christchurch and found that it was great value. First you need to pick up all of your tickets ffrom the main office and then is up to you on which one you see first. It covers the Avon Punt, Botanical Gardens catepillar, hop on hop off city tram and the gondola which includes the return shuttle.

Have had this on my bucket list and it was even more than I could possibly imagine! The experience was something else and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of doing this.
Thanks to Jonno, awesome instructor, look forward to do this again.

Take a jacket with you, because it can be very windy.
On the lookout of the mountain station you have a wonderful view of the city, Lyttelton Harbor and Canterbury Plains.
We actually wanted to make the way up on foot, but you could only buy return tickets for 30 NZD.
On top of the mountain there are beautiful hiking trails in both directions, which lead along the mountain crest.
We treated ourselves to a Cappuccino in the otherwise somewhat expensive restaurant, which was really very good.

We decided to take our family who were visiting from the North Island for a sight seeing ride on the chair lift which was a great experience and highly recommended. What elevated this great experience to another level was the high level of service that was provided by the staff on the day. Our 87 year old friend Ted who was with us was not up to the walk from the check-in to the chair lift. After contacting the team Melanie turned up in the small truck (called piglet) and transported Ted to the lift, from then on they managed the lift to ensure Ted was able to get on and off. When we returned to base Melanie then took Ted in piglet to the restaurant and made sure there was seating for the team. Once we had finished a superb meal and refreshments Melanie then transported Ted to the carpark. This was above and beyond our expectations and turned a good day into a great one. Thanks Team, highly recommended.

Thank you Kevin for our wonderful day, and for going that extra mile to describe all of the surroundings to Charlie who is blind, we learnt so many new things because of your extensive knowledge of the area. Otira Hotel was such a great experience. If your considering doing this tour then go for it! You will not be disappointed. visiting the farm of Trevor and Heather was such a delight.

We did the night ziplining at the start of the night zipping (winter) great night views over the city while zipping down the lines.
Make sure you wear plenty of warm clothes, there is a bit of waiting around while everyone in the group has their turn but group sizes are limited so you aren't waiting for ever.
You get fitted into a modern sitting harness so no uncomfortable straps around your legs.
Lots of fun & looking forward to going again during the day time.

Our ship's schedule wasn't great for doing this tour but our driver made sure we were back in time for the last tender. It made it all a bit rushed but this was in no way the fault of the tour company, the driver handled it all wonderfully. Loved the sightseeing component of this tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Was a bit disappointed in the Antartic Centre, it was quite basic. In hindsight, I would opt for just a sightseeing tour.

Our driver did a great job showing us the Banks Peninsula and Christchurch. It's a shame so much damage from the 2011 Earthquake in Christchurch, but still beautiful and good to hear the story and rebuild going on. The Jet Boat ride on the Waimak was a real hoot! loved it. Would recommend!

This was a private tour--just my husband and I--in a very nice car for a drive north of Christchurch to visit three wineries, on to Hanmer Springs town for lunch and then on to the hot spring pools. Lunch was fantastic at the Rustic Café (beautiful tapas!!) and a PRIVATE hot springs pool was reserved for us to use for 30 min. After that we had a couple hours to relax in all the other pools. On our drive home our driver was attentive to our wishes to stop and drone and take pictures of some sheep. He also had local snacks in the back pockets of the seats in front of us to try along with bottled water. It was a fantastic day and we really enjoyed having the private tour!

A fantastic experience and wonderful service. Our driver and guide, Anuj, took good care of us on our trip to lakes Tekapo and Pukaki. His commentary and local knowledge was appreciated, as was his flexibility in moving the schedule around owing to a change in the weather (making for some stunning views). The journey makes for a long day, but the transport and company makes for a comfortable ride. I highly recommend NZSI tours and would use them again.

The best part of this tour was the sheep farm. The people who run the farm are lovely, and gave us an excellent overview of the what it takes to run a sheep farm. As well, the tea and scones were delicious and the owners were extremely hospitable and engaging. They deserve a 5/5. There was some disorganization at the outset as a driver did not show up which left our driver handling it all. He was excellent (Dennis) and gave us a great deal of information as we drove to Christchurch. We then switched vans and had limited time at the museum before being dropped off for a lunch break. Janet was our driver for the afternoon and she also had a lot of information to share. She did a very good job but was compromised by the van she had to drive. The van that we were in for the afternoon was much too cramped for the number of people and any many of the clients were uncomfortable which should never have occurred. Given the narrowness of the seats, there should have been fewer people and another van added. It is not ok to fill the van to capacity when the leg room is cramped and the road is very winding. Two people had some car sickness which may not have occurred if they had more room. Everyone should be warned in advance of the type of road. It is very manageable if people have room and a window.
