- Simon TLondon, UK104 contributionsThis shop was recommended to us so after some intensive map reading we arrived. The cheeses on offer were amazing and the assistant explained each of the different types recommending a parmesan style cheese from NZ. It was very good and much enjoyed wine a glass of red on our balcony.Written 26 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Connexus2Melbourne48 contributionsA very helpful friendly lady serving and good quality souvenirs on offer. The New Zealand Toy fluffy sheep were a much better quality than I'd seen elsewhere and the little sheep scarf was cute too.Written 25 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

The staff are so friendly and always available to offer a taste of their latest creation - hokey pokey is the standard favourite!Written 7 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AHW676Kansas City, MO3,766 contributionsWe were a Hong Kong tour group that stopped here for a presentation of the offerings of the gift store and then lunch. The decor is fairly modern looking, and the building is well-lit and welcoming. The gift store is the largest that I saw in the time that we were on the South Island, including furs, apparel, merino wool items, and honey-based gifts, and pricing was comparable to that which I saw elsewhere. They also sold some items that mostly only Asian people would be interested in, such as fish maws. There is a beautiful garden next to the building well worth a stop for photos.Written 14 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- milliesmum2016Christchurch, New Zealand1,809 contributionsThe Canterbury University Bookshop has always been the most wonderful independent bookseller. Obviously, it's full of required texts for students but it also has a great rang of all new releases and classics of both works of fiction and non fiction. Set under the gum trees on campus, there is paid metered off street parking readily available. So you can stay and browse as long as you like.Written 24 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Siobhan Murphy1 contributionThe diversity of products available at this shop is great, an Aladdin's cave, especially for gift ideas, I could spend all day looking at the uniqueness of them, but what I particularly love are the essential oils and products complimenting these. The quality and range of the oils are the best I have used. I can’t complement the shop enough. Well done to the owners.Written 17 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
