Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre
#1 of 6 Museums in Blenheim
This is one of the best aviation museums I have ever visited and rivals the Smithsonian in Washington DC with its vintage WWI aircraft exhibits.
... in a way that each display tells a story including the triumphs and the downfall of Manfred Von Richthofen ( the Red Baron) The uniforms medals and personal effects on display would rival many national museums.

Awesome museum Like a walk back to my younger days Lots of 60s 70s and 80s classics And the staff are great to talk to Should put entry price up its such good value
This facility is next to the aviation museum of Marlbourgh, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy. .
Marlborough Museum
#3 of 6 Museums in Blenheim
This was more limited in size and scope, but there are other museums, notably Te Papa in Wellington, which can do greater justice to the important subject of New Zealand's history.
There is a lot to see here but don’t expect glitzy type displays etc as a lot of the park is run by volunteers etc. the wine museum is very informative and insightful.
