An excellent experience all around! The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and helped us plan our ride. We had to change our plans a few times and they were perfectly accommodating. We'd love to do it all again - so much to see in this beautiful place.

We had a fabulous trip. Jack was very knowledgeable and made the trip very interesting. Easy cycling except for one steep hill, which wasn’t a problem at all on an e-bike. The ice cream towards the end was also a nice touch. Would highly recommend!

Great company. Always kept in touch. Guide was informative. Reassuring to know they had backup plans in place (not that they were needed-everything was well organised).

Great ride through beautiful nature. We started at Maymorn to add a few extra kms to the ride. It was a little steep, even for us as quite experienced riders, but we enjoyed it. We crossed some tunnels and bridges, all with it's own historic value. Great ride, I can recommend it. Just for those that are not too fit, please take the ebike, it'll make your ride much more enjoyable.
    Thank you team Wildfinder!

Tara was a wonderful guide and the bikes were in great condition. We were lucky that there wasn’t a lot of wind that day and the weather was great. She took us around the coast and shared stories and lots of info on Wellington. I had never ridden on an e-bike, and after some warmup in the parking lot, I felt very comfortable on the bike. The e-bike came in handy when we climbed a mountain to get an awesome view of Wellington harbor. Tour included a yummy gelato at the end.

Excellent experience with Wildfinder. A feeling of freedom for three days straight that lasts a week afterwards. There were some roads to navigate but cycle paths are being built along most of them.

Fabulous tour--we toured past many sites in Wellington. We got some great views, great info shared by the tour guide and it ended with ice cream. Perfect way to get a taste of the city.

Did the source to the sea ride from the Kaitoke kiosk to Days Bay, in Eastbourne using one of the e-bikes. Wildfinder was very helpful setting up the ride, even providing me with a spare e-bike battery just in case the original battery died (which it did 3 km prior to my destination).

My bike chain broke at the beginning of the ride - although a bike chain repair kit, spare link and instructions are provided along with the spare tyre, I threaded the chain back onto the derailleur incorrectly and got stuck. I contacted Wildfinder and Paycee met me a bit later, where she was quickly able to fix my chain and get me back on the road again.

The ride along the south section of the Remutaka rail trail and along the Hutt River is a scenic highlight - it is mostly downhill, with (for the most part) very good gravel or paved bike paths, with only a few sections around Eastbourne requiring street riding.

I highly recommend Wildfinder - they have very good bike tours with excellent support and service.

Returning to travel after Covid, we wanted to stay longer and go slower so New Zealand’s Remutaka cycle tour organized by Wildfinder was perfect. Our primary contact for the 4 days was Isaac and he organized a self-guided biking itinerary that emphasized local communities, history, nature, great food and of course, a daily dose of cycling through varied terrain. The Remutaka track flows between places that are not over-touristed and my husband and I, with the help of the attentive service of Wildfinder, enjoyed an authentic experience in a beautiful region of NZ. Thank you, Isaac, for our excellent bikes, wonderful accommodations and clear communication from start to finish!
