Such an amazing trail through the forests, the horses were extremely healthy and well looked after, and safety was a top priority which reassured the anxious members of our family. We really had a great time. Personally I was surprised by it. We did the Wizard themed room. I have done a few escape rooms and even this had me guessing. It was a good time. challenging and fun. - Daniel S3 contributionsWe had our delayed Xmas Party onboard the larger of Bay Explorers vessels which catered exceptionally for our group of 30. It was an absolutely perfect day with everything lining up to so well to make it a very memorable day.
Right from the beginning Emily (hostess with the mostess) was super attentive and flexible with our requirements through the booking process and let us build the day's experiences our way. She constantly had to deal with date changes and emails of questions from myself which she replied every time quickly and with great detail.
Upon meeting her on the day with the Skipper the weather was perfect, the boat was amazing and everything ran like clockwork.
They catered to our needs endlessly with amazing fishing spots, advice, finding us the best place around Mayor Island to snorkel, swim, spear fish and kayak. Emily even got geared up and brought so many delicious morsels from her own spear fishing expedition.
We sailed through a pod of dolphins expertly spotted by Emily and guided onto by the skipper which was amazing. Plenty of fish were caught for cooking and eating on the spot and to be taken home by a few.
Couldn't fault a single part of it and not one person left that boat at the end of the day with anything but glowing statments to make about the whole trip.

I was almost on tears from sheer excitement once a pod of dolphins was announced… was such an amazing experience. Being up close and personal with these beautiful mammals is an experience I will never forget. - BOP H1 contributionWe were lucky enough to arrange an educational marine biology trip with Dolphin Seafaris and it was the best!
We saw; a sunfish, an albatross, a mako shark, a giant leatherback turtle (that came really close to the boat for ten minutes and then it waved goodbye to us)! Penguins, eagle rays, stingrays (snorkelling), and a hammerhead shark.
The Dolphin Seafaris crew look after everything. It was her first lesson, and her instructor was clear, concise, and so helpful. She loved every minute and was surfing almost immediately. Additionally, the owner and other instructors were so friendly and welcoming. I felt safe during my instruction. I am new to surfing and Dean did an excellent job helping me improve my skills. Travis was a great guy, very friendly, patient, and a great instructor. Grace could not stop smiling afterward and had a great time. Her confidence has grown so much. Travis even had her standing up surfing on the waves at the end of her lesson.
Thanks, Travis, for a great morning, Grace can't wait to get out again on the water

Our pilot Will was very professional, easygoing, very knowledgeable, friendly, safety conscious and accommodating to our requests. Roger the mechanic and pick up driver was also very kind humble and friendly. Thankyou so much for the beach experience Will, my wife and I won't forget that HaHaHa, we had a great experience and we recommend this helicopter tour (the beach landing) for everybody especially if you don't have time to walk up Mt Maunganui.
