What travellers are saying
- notsurewherehomeisPleasanton, CA10 contributionsAbsolutely wonderful day, kayaking to the canyon, worth every penny. Our guide Josh had a great balance of humour, fun banter and intriguing information.Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- jennypenny17 contributionsOne of my regular walks and it never gets old....particularly gorgeous after a good amount of rain. Can be slippery in parts, but not unmanageable, and steep but absolutely worth it.Written 10 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Libby197533 contributionsWent as a group with a group of 14 year olds (plus an adult!) and had so much fun. The first couple of courses set you up for the harder levels and give you confidence the higher up the tree you go. Lots of laughter all the way ( to hide the fear!) and staff really helpful. Will definitely be back!Written 26 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- peterchristian888Tauranga, New Zealand2 contributionsThe simulator evening at the Aviator for our 19 managers was by far the best experience we’ve tried. The amazing authentic flying of Spitfires, trying to take out colleagues out over England in 1939, and the mind-blowing reality of the F18 fighter jet, will be hard to beat.
Additionally the event environment (looking across the airstrip with an array of aircraft buzzing around and the state of the art Fire Rescue vehicle paying a visit), and the professional event set up, topped off all components of a first class team event or a mates/ or family get together. Craig and his other aviators, who are there to guide you as you scan the British (or French) countryside for prey to blow out of the sky, are a highly experienced and easy to follow.
We’re planning more events there and have a few individuals heading back on their own….it’s very good value!

- Tracey Thompson1 contributionLoved our trip out, crew were great, Skipper was very funny. Every effort was made to find the dolphins for us we went very far out and were lucky enough to find a pod of 80, plus the bonus of seeing a beautiful manta ray. Skipper very knowledgeable and it was obviouse he cared about the ocean environment. A very special family day out for us. Thankyou guys.Written 24 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- jbellnzCambridge, New Zealand12 contributionsI can’t recommend these guys enough, they were great with my kids and made the whole trip smooth and fun for us all. My son has autism and they were fantastic with him, this really was the icing on the cake for me. They have a couple of options when it comes time to swimming with the dolphins so even nervous swimmers were looked after and were able to get into the water. Communication before and during the experience was clear and friendly and no unexpected surprises. What they said would happen, happened. An unforgettable family memory and one I’d like to repeat one day, A+Written 8 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Phone first to check the weather, as it's not much fun if there's little wind.
The operators are honest and tell you the truth.
There are other activities at the same venue which are indoor and don't require wind!!!
If you're a visitor ensure that you get accurate directions as it is a little hard to find the correct entrance to the complex.Written 27 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - 641joanne2 contributionsThank you for an awesome Kiwi experience at Mount Maunganui. - GemmabaHeadingley, UK7 contributionsMy boyfriend surprised me with a trip to the escape rooms, which I was absolutely delighted as I have always wanted to do one but never got round to it. Once we arrived we were greeted by a lovely staff member (maybe John?), who was extremely attentive and friendly despite it being the last time slot of the day. He revealed we were doing the wizarding themed room which I was over the moon about, and led us in. The room was such a challenge yet so much fun, and we managed to escape with around 6 minutes to go. The staff are there to give you hints if needed, so this room would be great for all levels of experience. We loved it so much we returned that same week to do the shire themed room, which was equally as fun! Great place for families, friends and date night for sure!Written 13 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
