- Mel Brownlee7 contributionsI went with my 3 children (8 and under) and we all had a blast. My toddler especially loved being able to climb as high as he wanted without any worry on my part. And being clipped in to the harness, I could relax knowing he wouldn’t run off! The auto harnesses were so good. My older 2 children loved challenging themselves. We can’t wait to go again. We really had a great time. Personally I was surprised by it. We did the Wizard themed room. I have done a few escape rooms and even this had me guessing. It was a good time. challenging and fun. It was an absolutely perfect day with everything lining up to so well to make it a very memorable day.
Right from the beginning Emily (hostess with the mostess) was super attentive and flexible with our requirements through the booking process and let us build the day's experiences our way. She constantly had to deal with date changes and emails of questions from myself which she replied every time quickly and with great detail.
Upon meeting her on the day with the Skipper the weather was perfect, the boat was amazing and everything ran like clockwork.
They catered to our needs endlessly with amazing fishing spots, advice, finding us the best place around Mayor Island to snorkel, swim, spear fish and kayak. Emily even got geared up and brought so many delicious morsels from her own spear fishing expedition.
We sailed through a pod of dolphins expertly spotted by Emily and guided onto by the skipper which was amazing. Plenty of fish were caught for cooking and eating on the spot and to be taken home by a few.
Couldn't fault a single part of it and not one person left that boat at the end of the day with anything but glowing statments to make about the whole trip.

Couldn’t recommend this enough. The team are very passionate about the wildlife and making it the best experience possible, whilst also keeping everything relaxed. We spent time with 2 dolphin pods but didn’t get to swim with them as one was travelling too fast and the other had a baby. - BOP H1 contributionWe were lucky enough to arrange an educational marine biology trip with Dolphin Seafaris and it was the best!
We saw; a sunfish, an albatross, a mako shark, a giant leatherback turtle (that came really close to the boat for ten minutes and then it waved goodbye to us)! Penguins, eagle rays, stingrays (snorkelling), and a hammerhead shark.
The Dolphin Seafaris crew look after everything. Phone first to check the weather, as it's not much fun if there's little wind.
The operators are honest and tell you the truth.
There are other activities at the same venue which are indoor and don't require wind!!!
