Arrived with party of 4, Sunday lunch time. Great spot, nice selection of ciders and enjoyed the tasting concept of choosing 4 cider flavours. This was good value.
Food was good, outdoor setting nice with great views and like the fact you can bring the dog. For a casual Sunday afternoon outing with friends, very nice!

Fascinating piece of African history with plenty of interesting memorabilia and insights into life in those changing times.

Although small, fresh new building with interesting collections of local artists and Maori culture. Very helpful staff.

A great spot for retail therapy or, as we did, to catch up with friends over lunch [lots! of options]. Clean facilities and easy parking. Seems to always have road works outside when we visit?! But a small price to pay.

Маленький уютный театр в Тауранге, куда раз в году приезжает русский балет. It’s nice architecture, a pleasant place to look at and walk into. Has a bar so you can relax in the foyer with a drink on the couches. Parking is available all around especially if you look on Google maps b4 going there.

The simulator evening at the Aviator for our 19 managers was by far the best experience we’ve tried. The amazing authentic flying of Spitfires, trying to take out colleagues out over England in 1939, and the mind-blowing reality of the F18 fighter jet, will be hard to beat.
Additionally the event environment (looking across the airstrip with an array of aircraft buzzing around and the state of the art Fire Rescue vehicle paying a visit), and the professional event set up, topped off all components of a first class team event or a mates/ or family get together. Craig and his other aviators, who are there to guide you as you scan the British (or French) countryside for prey to blow out of the sky, are a highly experienced and easy to follow.
We’re planning more events there and have a few individuals heading back on their own….it’s very good value!

We visited this evening and the facility was lovely, clean, and not at all crowded. Four stars only because it was quite expensive for a family pool entry pass (over $50 for two adults and two kids). This was a nice, fun treat but I think the price would keep it well out of range for many. It certainly isn’t as expansive or exciting as the pools at Hanmer Springs, but we all enjoyed ourselves. The music was nice and the view of the Mount at sunset was spectacular.

This so for Thai touch in Bethlehem. I have been for a half dozen massages with various Thai touch branches in Tauranga and I am sitting here drinking Boel fruit tea after possibly the most incredible massage I’ve ever received. I woke up this morning feeling sore and couldn’t get comfortable and I feel AMAZING. I’ve had quite a few excellent massages but this one was outstanding. I have two young children almost 2 and almost four so post baby body is a little delicate but Kim at Thai touch Bethlehem used the PERFECT pressure. Firm to get knots out and smooth tension but never painful. Absolutely impressed and I always picked “I don’t mind which therapist” as it also has a $5 discount and to be honest they are always incredible but I may just ask to have Kim at Bethlehem thai touch again she is amazing. You will not regret it. I have found myself asking for the extra 15 mins half way through it is always sensational. I had 60 minutes today and it was absolute full body smoothed out perfection. 6/5 stars.

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to the escape rooms, which I was absolutely delighted as I have always wanted to do one but never got round to it. Once we arrived we were greeted by a lovely staff member (maybe John?), who was extremely attentive and friendly despite it being the last time slot of the day. He revealed we were doing the wizarding themed room which I was over the moon about, and led us in. The room was such a challenge yet so much fun, and we managed to escape with around 6 minutes to go. The staff are there to give you hints if needed, so this room would be great for all levels of experience. We loved it so much we returned that same week to do the shire themed room, which was equally as fun! Great place for families, friends and date night for sure!

We had an awesome time on our Hamilton brewery tour hosted by Jeremy. Everyone on the tour commented about how much they enjoyed themselves - Jeremy's knowledge and fun professional hosting skills were a massive part of this. I am keen to do another beer tour somewhere else in NZ sometime in the future.
