- Donald G2 contributionsAbsolutely fantastic holiday, with the best owners/tour guides I've ever met. We went on a really comprehensive tour of the South Island, and being in a 4x4 van rather than a large coach meant that we could go to many places that are not on the usual tourist map. Using large tents rather than hotels also kept the price right down, making it excellent value.

Matt gave us very indepth information about the sights during the flight. We all had a wonderful time getting an insight from James on how the whole process works from bee to jar. Take the most beautiful scenic drive up through the wyndy road through the Bush until you reach the Egmont Visitors Centre (although there are plenty of spots to start other walks along the way).
Here you will find ample free parking (unless it is snowing then you will be lucky to move;), the visitors centre with extremely helpful staff with a wide knowledge on the mountain and walks which would suit you.
There are ample tracks all with varying distances and times and for all fitness levels and ages.

She and her team was still able to give every student the required attention.
In the 4 days the kids made really great progress. My son is now a very confident surfer!

It is a delightful place - peaceful and tranquil. I booked a local fishing guide - Adam Priest - and he supplied me with all the gear I needed. I learnt so much about river fishing. For instance, the food the fish eat and where they feed in the river. We worked our way upstream crossing the river several times. It was a great experience! Adam was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. Here is his website with a price guide.
