Our guide was fantastic at explaining everything and making us feel comfortable on the horses. Riding through the farm and bushland made me feel so at peace with nature. We got a great view of Lake Rotorua as well. One thing I would have enjoyed is if we had the option to try out a trot. I didn't have a problem with the trek being walking only, but it might have been fun if the guide offered to teach us how to go a little bit faster. Overall, a great beginner's horse trek.
