What travellers are saying
- Doug M3 contributionsI was nervous but Prashant was hilarious which helped me relax. The dive itself was amazing! Would 100% recommend and would definitely do it again. I live in Auckland but would definitely come back to do my next dive here too!Written 25 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BlueyFE1 contributionWe hired the private shuttle for a large group and had an amazing time. Although most of us were beginners, we slowly worked our way up to some challenging trails and managed to get 8+ trails in over 3-4 hours. I would definitely recommend the private shuttle if you want to get as much in as possible. Staff were super friendly and helpful, hope to be back soon.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HilsNZAuckland, New Zealand272 contributionsWe decided to try the trike tour on our last day and I highly recommend it, it ticked all the boxes - fun, learning about the area, value for money and you are left on a high! Mark was knowledgeable, entertaining and we never felt unsafe.

Pilot was great host and the landing on the hole in the rock was awesome. Short walk around the top and continue with flight. Grat value and experience.Written 24 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KaraskarCoatesville, New Zealand86 contributionsOur family trip on the R Tucker Thompson was possibly the most fantastic thing we did all year! The crew are wonderful and very knowledgable. We helped to rig the ship, steer and even climbed to the front of the bow sprit and the rigging - including our 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter who both made it to the yard arms, about 20m up the mast! We stopped at a gorgeous bay and lept from the ship via a swing tied to the yard arm. We went on to collect Kina and then ate them on board after the marvalous lunch provided by the crew. Under sail the ship made nearly no noise. A beautifully tuned and smooth ride. Hats off to the crew and the build of the ship.

- Shelley MAlbany, New Zealand442 contributionsBest way to see the islands in the bay. Rich met us at the wharf and gave us some warmer tops to put on plus a jacket which was appreciated. We did 2 1/2 hour trip and is the most expensive trip we have done but was so worth it. It was really scary at first as I had never ridden a jet ski, but Rich is very patient and explains things really well. We had a lot of fun going around so many islands and Rich would tell us what they were and some information. Stopped on the the big island at the cafe (wow what a spot) and had a coffee (should have had a beer) and that was really nice. This turned out to be a highlight of our northland trip and I would go again and maybe longer. Have done a boat trip years ago and did not enjoy it, this was amazing. Such a friendly guy and nice to chat to. Made to feel very welcome.Written 12 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kylie OMosgiel, New Zealand113 contributionsHired paddle boards for our children ($25/hr) and the service was great from start to finish. All gear was excellent and the kids got some pointers before heading out to make their time as enjoyable as possible. Great experience for third and an hour was more than enough time. Would highly recommend this to other families with teenagers.Written 27 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sherylgary2018Porto Recanati, Italy1 contributionValve for money, just a pitty it was raining!! Was a fun trip, good boat, and had lots of room.
