- Curiosity919082 contributionsWe had such an amazing day! We lucked out with the weather and a smaller than normal number of guests. Brad and Monique could not have been more gracious hosts. We learned a lot about sailing and the history of the Bay of Islands. They were very accommodating with everyone’s wishes at the island excursion. The catamaran is in pristine condition with plenty of comfortable seating. Brad is a very knowledgeable and professional skipper and we felt safe at all times. The box lunch options were delicious. - Jhan L286 contributionsWe had an amazing day on the water with our Bayscapes private charter. Monique and Brad were lovely to work with both during the planning stages and during the trip itself. The day we originally booked had rain forecast for the whole day and before I even noticed Brad had emailed me to help us plan another day to sail.
During the trip they gave us a few options of islands to visit, letting us know which might be best for what activities we enjoyed. We sailed to Motorua Island where we walked to the top of the island for some amazing views of the bay. My husband was able to paddle board while we explored the beach then we headed back to the boat for a delicious lunch.
We relaxed up front with drinks (don’t forget to BYOB!) as we sailed back and got dropped off in Russel for the rest of the afternoon.
