The gallery features many leading arts and crafts specialist wares from around the country, and I often find something to admire, or buy.
It is also a very special place with a unique river valley Waikato country outlook, and Jenny who runs it is spirited and knowledgeable, always good for a chat too.

Get there early to find a good spot in the shade. Very unstable market, regular providers don’t turn up each weekend as they get better offers or as one said he was hungover! Management need to get some dedicated providers so people can access a market for provisions, very very dissatisfied yet again.
It’s not seasonal disruption I know the difference, nor is it Covid related. A little like an old fashioned hard-mongers store.
There was also a playing area for children next to these.
