The Hamilton Night market is a new way to try different cuisines at an affordable rate. The food is good and there is also singers and crafts there. there's something for everyone at the night markets.

At the time of my visit there was a quality ceramics exhibition. It was well set out, indicative of an attempt to display items to their maximum benefit rather than just lumping as many items as possible together.

This is a great activity to sit on the Rhododendron lawn of the gardens to relax on a Sunday afternoon. Get there early to find a good spot in the shade. There is plenty of food to choose from and all reasonably priced.

We visited the park after a gap of some years and were blown away with what had been achieved! There was such an obvious knowledge of plants their positioning, variety and propagation. The planning, present and future ie the planting of pines on the road to the quarry,30 years ago, now felled and the profits used to plant Asian trees and shrubs propagation on site, to plant on a difficult steep gully for the future. The sculptures provided interest of different kinds, some thoughtful, some very cleverly made and some provocative. We loved it and wish the owners all the very best for what they had achieved.

Good parking and a great food court to bring the grandchildren to, however it felt cold inside.
A wide range of shops...and Farmers Department store is a well stocked clean pleasant retail shop.

Authentic is pushing it, big local bakeries and cafes turn up with factory stock, amongst smattering of small producers. Very unstable market, regular providers don’t turn up each weekend as they get better offers or as one said he was hungover! Management need to get some dedicated providers so people can access a market for provisions, very very dissatisfied yet again.
It’s not seasonal disruption I know the difference, nor is it Covid related. Market is a shambles actually.

The shopping mall has many choices. It brings convenient knowing where restaurants are. Otherwise, the place has great ambience and vibrant feeling to it.

We went to the Grasshouse for coffees, and alongside it is The Country Providore, which offered an eclectic mix of items for sale. A little like an old fashioned hard-mongers store.

There was also a playing area for children next to these.

A big parking area is near the neat wrought iron entrance gate..
