Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

the museum offers a great tribute to those who sacrificed their lives during WWI and II, albeit depressing to realize the waste of human life.
Before exploring those floors we were introduced to the Haka dance. Well done. You're told when you can and cannot take photos.
The museum also has a marvelous exhibit of the Maori life and their culture. Fascinating and a must see.
Allow a min. of 2 hrs. for everything.

This museum is very interesting, provides good history of those who braved the passage and settled in New Zealand. The boats are great to see. Schedule a tour of the harbor...very enjoyable.

After the rather soulless Auckland CBD, it was nice to walk a couple of kilometres to Ponsonby; a place with a good vibe, lots of people sitting at cafes, vintage stores and upmarket boutiques too. Loads of good restaurants and food options. And if you take a stroll down the side streets of Ponsonby Road, you’ll be charmed by the lovely period homes, wide tree lined streets and tranquility.

wonderful display of plant and flowers; beautiful pond and shaded areas. Overall a rather large garden to enjoy. The War memorial museum is only a short walk away.

I recently contacted Auckland Stardome Observatory regarding the Pink Floyd 50th Anniversary of the Dark Side of the Moon show, which was sold out. On the 29th of April, I called to inquire about any available tickets. While they initially had none, the staff were happy to take my contact details and promised to call me if any cancellations occurred.

The following day, on the 30th, I called again and was pleased to learn that they had my details ready and assured me they would keep me informed. Around 6 PM that day, I received an enthusiastic call from a team member who was delighted to inform me that tickets had become available due to a cancellation.

Thanks to their excellent service, I had the opportunity to see one of the most amazing shows ever. The concert was stunning, with a beautiful display. However, what truly stood out was the outstanding customer service. The staff were always happy, willing to help, and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience.

I highly recommend visiting Auckland Stardome Observatory. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable.

Pretty cool hotel with an emphasis on sustainability. The only problem I had really was that the rooms were a little small. Seemed that there was not a lot of space to set out our luggage. The location was great and everyone at the hotel was very helpful. I would stay there again

The casino id fine as always and fun. We Dec to eat in Food Republic where the food is on OK meal. It was the length of time it took to order that was a problem. There were 4 staff behind the checkouts and not one of them was taking orders. They had to make drinks and prepare things which took them away from dealing with the queue forming .Not their fault, they need beer management to make sure everything moves along quickly. It is a bad setup.

Cathedral of St Patrick and St Joseph is a heritage Catholic church situated at the corner of Federal Street and Wyndham Street. It is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Auckland .The Church is commonly referred to as "St Patrick's Church" and is the seat of the Bishop of Auckland.Had attended 0800 hrs Sunday mass and some three thousand people attend Mass here each Sunday. During the week thousands more come to pray, light a candle or enjoy a moment’s peace. .It was "St Patrick's Day" feast and later in the morning there was a grand carnival procession on Queen Street celebrating the festival. .Unlike most of European churches that have few church attendees was pleased to see the entire church full with devotees.

It is a historic landmark set up in 1861. So peaceful and welcoming. It was a divine pleasure to visit this cathedral and speak to the most welcoming staff.

    Attended an open floor concert,
Arena well set up for concerts.
Security presence was great, including being wand scanned on entry.
Toilets let the place down. Ladies toilets were leaking and had flooded not an hour into the show. Although I did get feedback from the guys the male toilets were the cleanest they had used.
Wouldn't hesitate to see another show there.

Convenient shopping for home and farm, everything under one roof, reasonably priced, but sometimes the desired brand or make not be available.
