- Jeannie M1 contributionThe tour was well organised with plenty of pre tour information and the day went as promised. Both Hobbiton and the Glow Worm Caves were magical and well worth a visit. I appreciated that we took scenic routes and were able to see the countryside. Our tour guide Amethyst was very friendly and went out of her way to entertain and inform us. - Happiness645885205451 contributionI had a fab day with the Cheeky Kiwi Travel tour to Hobbiton from Auckland, there were 5 of us on the tour in total but Grant (our awesome driver) made sure that everyone knew each other.
Grant was an amazing driver and tour guide for the trip to the set and back, he had so much knowledge about the areas we were travelling through, he was full of fun facts and the odd cheesy dad joke!

Enjoyed the tour.The Wai O Tapu was breathtaking and wow I was brave enough to walk the Redforest Gum, for someone who is scared of heights I did well. Looked after us. Supplied snacks and water. We did stop on some other interesting places too and took photos. He also helped us taking photos, so I could be on the picture with my friends. He told us all the history of NZ, Auckland and the places we went. He was knowledgeable of the history of New Zealand, Auckland, the land, agriculture, plant species. Really, you name it and he had a wealth of information to share. He accommodated for our family of three as we were the only ones on the tour for the day. Lunch that was provided was delicious. The sights were breathtaking! Everything ran so smoothly and communication with the company before the tour was exceptional, making sure we were picked up at the most convenient location. The tour was conducted as 2, morning and afternoon, with 2 different tour guides ensuring we had the most knowledgeable guides for the different environments. - Greg BSingapore River, Singapore49 contributionsGood company, they messaged us the night before with pick up time and the drivers name, Denny.
Denny arrived on time and introduced us to the other passengers.
He explained the day s outline and off we went for a terrific educational gently paced tour of Auckland and surrounding areas.
Den was an experienced local and could answer all questions.
The winery tasting, lunch and afternoon ice cream were all first class .
A good day out.

I would definitely use Bush and Beach tours again the next time I'm in Auckland. The buffet lunch at Hobbiton was delicious.
