Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Irina O1 contributionI've rented the jet ski on multiple occasions and consistently had a positive experience. The jet ski was well-maintained, and I was provided with thorough instructions on its usage each timeWritten 18 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelFoodCoolToronto, Canada143 contributionsWe loved this half day cycling tour of Auckland. The E-bikes were great allowing us to cover a lot of ground and make the ascent to Mt Eden for spectacular views.
Carson was a great guide keeping us all in our correct (left) lane and supplying lots of information about the sites we were seeing.
Highly recommend.Written 6 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Everything went swimmingly except for one patch of difficulty. On the first morning, about 40 minutes in, there was a jamming somewhere. I turned the bike upside down, using the derailleur, got the chain connected properly. However, there was still jamming and I worked out that the chain was not engaged properly at the hub of the back wheel. I managed to rectify this although there seemed to be a bit of chain looseness over the period of my bike hire. By changing up, I tended to diminish the problem. Overall though, I thought the bike was great, similar to my own. Maybe , the bike could have done with an expert look just prior to hiring in the kind of nerve centre areas.... pedal/chain. I had no problems with the person I got the bike off, and maybe it was a bit of bad luck.Written 13 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, upon returning the rental vehicle on 23/08/2023, I observed that the fuel tank meter showed a level higher than what was recorded at the time of pick-up. I have attached photographs of the fuel tank meter at both the time of pick-up and return for your reference. The staff member, Helem, at the counter assured me that this discrepancy would be noted and addressed and I was requested to send details through email. I appreciated her assistance and trusted that the situation would be resolved correctly. But they cheated me and they didn't want to compensate the difference of what i paid more when i dropped off the car. - World_Hiker_DallasScottsdale, AZ173 contributionsI had the absolute pleasure of renting a cycle from the Auckland location of Natural High near the airport. Logan was a real pro, the bike and maps were perfect. Had a great time and would highly recommend Natural High! - GreenHornFairyAuckland, Auckland, New Zealand2 contributionsThank you Levi for the awesome trip from St. Helier's Bay to Browns Island.
My tour guide Levi was patient (I have little kayaking experience) and paced the trip to suit my needs. This helped me feel safe and confident on the water.
I especially enjoyed learning about sea birds, the history of Brown Island and its neighbors. Now I know how to spot an oystercatcher!
Levi was also nice enough to help me take pictures on the trip - great souvenir to remember this fun time.

I reached out to Mike, the Livelo NZ contact, about a month before I was planning on coming to NZ to do a bike-packing trip around the North Island. At this point, I was not necessarily planning on renting a Livelo bike, but I figured that the Livelo staff may be able to advise me on my proposed route. Without a guarantee that I was going to rent one of their bikes, Mike still offered to help me plan my trip out of the goodness of his heart. I ended up deciding to rent one of Livelo's bikes rather than bring my own from the USA, because their prices were incredibly affordable, the quality of their bikes seemed quite high, and they clearly had amazing customer service. When I arrived in NZ, Mike went even farther above and beyond what I was expecting from a customer service perspective: he helped me plan my trip down to every last detail, working with me to develop good routes on Strava, giving me multitools and spare tubes/parts in case I should have any problems while biking, advising me on fun things to do and places to stop along the way, and coordinating a time that worked for me to pick up my bike. My trip was a 2+ week long solo trip. Mike took time out of his day to ride about 40 miles outside of Auckland with me on the first day, and he stayed in contact with me throughout the trip, checking in to make sure that everything was going ok. The bike held up great over the course of the trip. No issues with it whatsoever, and I had a wide range of weather and road conditions. When I returned to Auckland ~1100 miles of cycling later, Mike met me at my hotel in the Auckland CBD to pick up my bike. I truly cannot thank Livelo and specifically Mike enough for having facilitated such an amazing trip. I would recommend any bikers hoping to explore NZ to rent one of their bikes.Written 13 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AcinetoAuckland Central, New Zealand20,171 contributionsWent with a friend to try out windsurfing. It costs $55 per lesson and I was able to get a special where you get 6 lessons for the price of 5. The cost includes all the gears including the wetsuit as well as a personal instructor. The staff and Alan are friendly which made it easy to learn and enjoy. They also do wing surfing as well as foiling.
I usually just book the next session the day after my lesson. I haven't book just gear yet though but they do that too.
They are located in Sylvan Park in Milford, just head to the lake and you should be able to see the van. It was a really nice intro to windsurfing.Written 24 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I have done a similar tour in the states but it didn’t even come close to explaining and educating you about what you’re seeing. These guys did it right, I really enjoyed that part….but of course the magical “lights” were incredible! A MUST SEE!Written 16 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
