Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arena well set up for concerts.
Security presence was great, including being wand scanned on entry.
Toilets let the place down. Ladies toilets were leaking and had flooded not an hour into the show. Although I did get feedback from the guys the male toilets were the cleanest they had used.
Wouldn't hesitate to see another show there.Written 26 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The roads around the stadium were shut down on show day and they were running special buses from early evening onwards from the main Britomart train station. The buses were included in the concert ticket which was a great idea. There was a long line of people but it moved quickly with a seemingly endless line of buses loading up.
We were in the back standing area which is 10 minute walk up a very steep hill. Security checks were quick and efficient. No food or drink allowed in. I was allowed to keep my small binoculars and small pocket camera. The binoculars were especially useful because the stage is so far away.
Was a very sunny, windy day and there was plenty of beer flowing from the 'bar' and the merchandising stands were very crowded. Long lines for the porta-loos. There were limited food options inside - nothing at all for vegetarians.
The concert was great, visibility was good because its a naturally sloping hill but its pretty far away to the stage and the wind actually blew the sound around. The light show was more effective after dark.
Had to walk quite a bit after the show to where they had again arranged the endless buses to get everyone back to britomart. They were running late trains to make sure everyone got home which was great.Written 11 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. AT transport there was extremely efficient but finding our way back to the bus afterwards was impossible for Queen (we took the train in the end) and difficult for Elton. Gate E is all the way through Mt Smart and out the back and around whch is a bit of a trek. Fairly efficient operation and gret experiences even if Elton did only complete half his planned songlistWritten 17 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
