Products in this shelf are the top products picked from the current list and based on the existing sort
Our Featured sort order ranks tours, activities, and experiences by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, your individual user browsing history and preferences while using Tripadvisor, the frequency of user clicks generally, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
Really enjoyed both parts of this adventure. Wouldn’t have been able to do it on my own. Our guide Mike was fantastic and made sure we got the most out of the experience.
The glow worms in the caves were fascinating. Floating through in silence was like staring into the night sky.
Hobbiton was larger than I expected! The entire farm is beautiful and being in the Shire made me wish I were a Hobbit. It was great to be able to walk through a Hobbit home! Now I feel a bit closer to Bilbo and Frodo.
Cameron from the Cheeky Kiwi company was very informative and energetic. Super tour guide! The only issue was the sound system on the 16 passenger bus. We sat in the back as we were the last pickup. It was hard to hear due to road noise and lack of speakers near the back. ( I was unable to locate them) otherwise a great day.
Great tour nice guides. Definitely recommend. to any who wants to stay in the city. If you want to visits overnight you may consider some other options.
Great tour, the Waitomo caves are really cool, and the Hobbiton is spectacular. The bus is very comfortable, nice lunch and the tour guide Rachel is awesome.
We had a lovely food tour of Auckland with a fantastic host in Mark. A great blend of local information and yummy food to places you would not have gone to on your own. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Auckland.
We had the most amazing trip with Bush&Beach! Murray, our guide, was super professional and friendly staff who made the trip super enjoyable. He was knowledgeable of the history of New Zealand, Auckland, the land, agriculture, plant species. Beautiful nature, great beach, amazing scenic views. We would highly recommend this tour, it makes you appreciate nature even more.
The Hobbiton movie set is really worth a visit, it’s a very magical place. We had a great tour guide Damian who looked after us extremely well for the whole trip. The lunch in the Party Marquee was really good and we especially enjoyed the drink in the Green Dragon!
Such a fun experience. Alessandro was fabulous. great tour guide and tour. We had a blast! He offered many stops and gave many bathroom breaks. Great beauty and nice to get out of Auckland for the day.
Really well worth the money. Everything ran so smoothly and communication with the company before the tour was exceptional, making sure we were picked up at the most convenient location. The tour was conducted as 2, morning and afternoon, with 2 different tour guides ensuring we had the most knowledgeable guides for the different environments. The stops and the commentary were all scenic and interesting.
We started in Auckland and our guide arrived right on time. During the route we stopped for 20 minutes for a quick breakfast.
Hobbiton, Te Puia and Kia Ora were amazing! Honestly we spent lot of time on the road without stop anywhere because all the attractions we had already paid had a specific time to start. At the end of the trip (around 3:30pm), I was exhausted.
When purchasing my booking I asked the company if I could be dropped off in Rotorua instead of Auckland and to my surprise they said yes. My tour guide dropped me off in front of my hostel (which was really cool). Unfortunately there's no discount for that.
Was a good experience with the Cheeky Kiwi. I recommend for everyone!

Apparently most tour companies do exactly the same service in Rotorua (I've spoken to people who pay different companies). So don't expect any surprises or special places to see. I recommend try some attractions by yourself!
Fabulous day with Erin really enjoyed the wine selection, lunch and choice of vineyards The added trip to Muriwai beach was an extra bonus and seeing the gannet colony was fabulous Thank you very much
