- Jenny MAnnapolis, MD25 contributionsWe had an amazing trip with an extremely knowledgeable crew. We saw a nursery pod of common dolphins and multiple shorebirds doing cooperative feeding. We also saw a brydes whale that was doing bubble net feeling. We were citizen scientists assisting with the boats research and learned so much about Aucklands ecosystem. There was extensive research material on board and a presentation. We whale watch all over the world and this was one of our favorite trips!! She was prompt, thorough, and very kind. It was like touring with a friend. She also accommodated us by dropping us off at our next location rather than back at the hotel. Denny arrived on time and introduced us to the other passengers.
He explained the day s outline and off we went for a terrific educational gently paced tour of Auckland and surrounding areas.
Den was an experienced local and could answer all questions.
The winery tasting, lunch and afternoon ice cream were all first class .
A good day out.

It was an early pick up so we could not even get breakfast at the hotel. But Han came prepared with snacks to subsist on until lunch. The sights were beautiful and we got a good overview of what the region has to offer. The Thermal Wonderland was my personal favorite part of the tour. What we really appreciated was that we needed heavier jackets for the later travel to South Island. Han was able to fit in a pit stop so we can pick up jackets which became indispensable later on our trip. Han was on top of our needs throughout the tour. The drivers were all friendly, and the stops were all well positioned to see the sights.

We were so impressed by the amount of sites we visited and there were plenty of opportunities for photos and a stop for coffee and a wee.
Because of the timely pick up from our hotel we really maximised our short visit and discovered so much of the historic Māori culture and even went to Devonport which was so just lovely we took the ferry back there again for dinner.
Michelle even helped us drop off at our next hotel further along Queen Street. He picked us up from airport, took us to highlights of Auckland, then drove us to the glow worm caves. The ability to customize our day was great! He was very professional, but personal. The car was beautiful and stocked with water and snacks! - Coralie M D6 contributionsWe had a lovely day through the scenic sights of Auckland. Mike's cheerful disposition guided us through the magnificent views of Tamaki Drive, and Mission Bay. Other interesting sights included the Fernery at Domain Park and lunch at the Landing located at Riverhead.
Mike was jovial, entertaining and provided a lot of history to each of the memorable sights.

Mike is friendly and very knowledgable about the landscape and history of the area. The smaller group number compared to other tours allowed for a really personalised experience.
