Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Todd P1 contributionGood food and drink. Overrun with Romulans. Would have liked to see more authentic Vulcan foods like Gespar fruit and big bowls of Plomeek Soup.Written 26 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Naresh1936Mumbai, India361 contributionsConvenient shopping for home and farm, everything under one roof, reasonably priced, but sometimes the desired brand or make not be available.Written 15 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AcinetoAuckland Central, New Zealand23,300 contributionsThe mall isn't huge but it is fairly big. Multiple levels of shops including the Warehouse on the top floor at one end and the Cinemas near the other. They also have multiple entrances including ones on Great North Road.
They do have a food court with a variety of different foods.
The mall is quite nice and clean and not too difficult to get around. Large selection of shops including quite a few dollar stores (and a $2 or less store).Written 3 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Newly built, it has stylish surroundings, quite a corporate feel, delightful views of the harbour from certain levels, there were places to luxuriously pamper, elegant stores to visit, aromas & flavours of tasty food from around the world. Like busy food-streets in South East Asia with delectable morsels - the well-populated food court, was very busy when we were at Harbour Eats. I have gait/walking challenges (stroke); I wear a legbrace. Style, Design, fine and casual dining, trendy buzzing bars, flagship stores, Commercial Bay shopping complex has something for everyone, great way to catch-up for drinks, coffee, sundowners & watch the world go by. A welcome addition to the CBD, part of the Britomart downtown shopping area.Written 11 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Quack HHONG KONG2,689 contributionsThe Strand Arcade is an old style shopping center where it preserved the elegrance from the old days. Do take the kids there, it is like travelling back in time.Written 3 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AcinetoAuckland Central, New Zealand23,300 contributionsAtrium on Elliot has been around for a while. It is a multi-level shopping mall which has a food court on the bottom floor. The food court has a lot of options and there is a Chinese restaurant, Dragon Boat Restaurant, beside it.
The main stores in the mall are Rebel Sport, the Warehouse and the Number One Shoes. There are a lot of smaller stores in the mall too. One of the newest looking ones was Ippondo, a Japanese product store.
The mall is also connected to the Crowne Plaza Hotel internally.
It is a fairly small mall but does have a nice food court and interesting places to shop.Written 24 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Night visiting may be funnier. Wifi access is awfully bad. Very very inconvenient.Written 16 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
