- Ben KingLondon, UK329 contributionsVery cool swim spot for a couple hours. The waterfall is easily accessible with lots of parking and only a 700 metre walk. Waterfall is huge and there are lots of rocks for sitting, eating, and sunbathing. You can slide down part of the waterfall! But beware the water is COLD. Took us to two spots that were not crowded, and coral and fish in abundance! Lots of good food for lunch and a glass of wine and cheese/crackers at end of day on ride back was lovely! Planned to snorkel, but decided to scuba at both stops instead - the briefing, kitting up and scuba experience for a first timer was incredible. - Courtney M4 contributionsWe just got back from overnight uncle Brian’s tour, Brian our tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable he made the trip so much fun for us and couldn’t recommend him anymore to take us on such a fun trip, would highly recommend great way to see the rainforests and waterfalls
Accommodation for the night was also 11/10

From the moment I met Ari, who walked me through refresher training at Divers Den pool in Cairns, I knew it was going to be a fabulous trip. She also was part of the livaboard crew and so deserves a massive shout out for her teaching skills and experience and more generally for being awesome.
The whole Divers Den crew were fabulous - super professional and organised but also great fun and cool to hang out with. Other shout outs especially to Danny, Laura, Simon and Diego.
I wholeheartedly recommend Divers Den and am already planning another diving holiday with them.
Other points that must be mentioned:
All the diving was out of this world
The food was phenomenal
The rooms were spacious, considering you're on a dive boat
All rooms were ensuite
Sunscreen was everywhere
The merch is super cool

On Sunday grabbed a scooter to get around town and out to some great sites. Very reasonable prices. 24hr hire. No fuss very friendly and easy to deal with. It’s a smaller group which is what we wanted. Tim was our dive instructor, he was very patient and informative. Highly recommended these guys if you want to have a well run ops! Very clear instructions and communication, very well organized logistically, good dive briefings to great dive sites.
The team made sure we were having fun and we had everything we needed. All of them were very friendly and competent in what they were doing.
The gear was in good condition and they took safety as a top priority.
Food was awesome. We were lucky with the weather.

The weather was a bit choppy and windy but they had travel sickness tablets on board.
The staff were super... every one of them. They were friendly, helpful and very professional.
We didn't realise that it takes nearly 2 hours to get to the Great Barrier Reef! We visited Norman Reef for snorkelling today. The snorkeling equipment was to a good standard. The crew safety standards and checks were thorough too.
Food on board was good with plenty of options for vegetarians.
For us the second snorkelling spot was better than the first. In choppy waters, having a buoyancy aid really helped me. Friendly and professional. Actual experience was great and the pilot was great at pointing out the islands and reefs. The weather was great so the flight was smooth. We've done a fair amount of adventurous things in our time and a bit of rafting and packrafting before so we didn't want some lame touristy experience that was all sanitised. We had a fantastic day with Julian guiding our boat down the river with aplomb and a good laugh. Weather and ocean conditions are no doubt important, and admit we were lucky on both. However, that is not all, and I consider staff professionalism another important factor. From that perspective, was very impressed. Overall management was smooth, and our dive guide (Paul) helped my children so well that I was able to relax and enjoy the view. And most importantly, the intense after-dive briefings were incredible! I’ve been diving in several places before, and I’ve never seen dive guides so intent on teaching and helping divers appreciate what they saw that day (not just my guide, but every one of them).
