What travellers are saying
- Adam B2 contributionsFriendly staff very knowledgeable, guided tour was great. Kids loved holding, feeding and petting animals. It is a little pricey but worth it for young kidsWritten 25 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SuzukiWBWasaga Beach, Canada424 contributionsWent on a tour with OmDelfin. I am so pleased that they had the foresight to protect this asset over 20 years ago. People have the opportunity to enjoy while decreasing the overall stress on the reef.
I happened to be there on the anniversary of the oatk and was so happy to see the pride they have in their reef.
People need to see this, but continue to be respectful to the oceans and the life it supports, including our own.
If you are going don't use sunscreen, shampoo etc before. The fish etc. will thank you. Ok, they don't actually talk outside of a Disney movie, but you get my point.

This was a tour, so the driver tools us to the tour locations shops first.
We were able to swim in the cenote (just one cenote), there’s also horseback ride, zip lining and ATV’s. The tour included delicious tacos and natural juices.
The photographer takes nice photos.
Highly recommend this location.Written 15 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The town itself was welcoming, the beach and food very nice . Mid February too soon I guess.Written 8 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Sandy SRiverside, CT637 contributionsGot there around 10 am and stayed until about 11:30 – no one there but us until we left. Made it very special! A bit pricy but worth it.
No credit cards – like many cenotes, they charge a higher price for tourists than for locals – which is OK. Open air cenote – much easier access than the underground ones. Sell soda but not food – can bring your own picnic.Written 3 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Go downtown Cancun by coco bongo and Hard Rock Cafe store and buy the tickets there . It’s amazing . 4 wheelers , zip line , cave dives , open air swing into freezing water cenote and a lunch . Best tacos ever and I am picky . Just KEEP your BAGS CLOSE theMONKEYS will grab and run . They took my daughter sunscreen up the tree so fast and I videos it and took a man’s shirt and hat . You can even drive there if you rent a car . We were there from 9 am until 4 ish for 35.00 per person .Written 30 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Inspiration78528325 contributionsI am writing this review because so many of the previous reviews seem to expect something other than a botanical garden, and expect a manicured presentation of the plants. We had a very interesting walk through the JardÃn, learned quite a bit about numerous trees, and even saw some (unexpected) animals. I would definitely recommend it as a lovely change from beach-time while in Puerto Morelos or nearby, particularly if you have any interest in plants.
The Jardin offers a fascinating walk through the transition zone between coastal mangroves and the semi-deciduous forest. There is signage in English and Spanish (some signs are only in Spanish) describing the major trees with information about the type of tree and how it has been and is used by people. In addition, there are a few cultural recreations -- a Mayan village, a chiclé harvesting campsite -- and a small archeological site. In addition, a viewing tower has been rebuilt so you can glimpse the whole area from on high if you wish.
It is very low-key, but a great way to learn a bit more about the flora of the region.
N.b. We did not need bug repellent until we got the stretch of the path that runs next to the mangroves.Written 5 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - David AMinneapolis, MN66 contributionsAll the cenotes in the Puerto Morelos area are located on Mayan land. Admission fees are an important source of income for local families.
Cenotes are typically open to the sky or closed (cave like). Siete Bocas is interesting because it has features of both types. You get to experience open and closed cenotes. It is one cenote with seven entrances.
Not over-developed as a tourist attraction, Siete Bocas is a good option for those seeking a more natural setting.Written 24 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Everyone was very nice. I highly recommend it! Great experience. - ScotAlbertaSherwood Park, Canada688 contributionsWell maintain in a small Mexican town. Like most towns in the country, the church is the center of the community and open to prayer every day. Considering the size of the town and the whole coast is only recently developed, the church is central.Written 7 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pete DBrighton, UK28 contributionsBeautiful laid back cenote in the jungle. Back to nature. Not touristy or commercialised. Very chilled. Life jackets and toilets provided . Secure and private so no lockers necessary. Bring your own food and drink. Cenote is breathtaking but no zip wire .Oscar who runs the place is very relaxed and friendly.Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
