Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Quirky place and a good spot to stop for a break and some photos. I've never seen anything like these buildings and they were adorable. I visited the i-Site inside the dog building and the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable and the information I got was spot on.

The collection here is unlike any I have seen before. We only chanced by as a pit stop between adventures but I could easily spend years in these vast halls. It is very, VERY cheap entry ($5) to see absolutely everything and anything you could dream of, and the owner has such colourful tales to tell on each artifacts!

We were browsing through shops at Tirau and decided to stop by this gallery. It has a variety of art sourced from local artists, all very lovely and interesting. It has a section on potted plants with various sizes and crafted pot bags to go with them. Very interesting to have a wonder and pick up something new, out of the ordinary and to enjoy. Man at the counter was friendly and offered good service too. Would recommend.

We were attracted to the name of the store and decided to stop in to have a browse. What an interesting store from art pieces to jewellery to handicraft. Very beautiful and unique art and handicraft from Bali, Indonesia. We could have stayed for ages checking out the different pieces.
Would recommend next time one stops by in Tirau.

Great place to stop whilst travelling. The buildings always make you smile, they are original and look really cool, like Tirau. Love looking at all the small shops.

My wife and her friend spent quite a while here and she ended up buying two handmade shell necklaces. She was impressed by the service and the variety of items on display, which she had not seen elsewhere.

Used the shuttle service to get to the start of Te Awa trail at Karepiro. Great communication before the start, pickup on time, and great chat with Steve on the way down. The van is very comfortable and the bike trailer safe and gentle on the bikes. Totally recommend for all your needs on the Te Awa Trail!

Such a lovely shop. So many handmade pieces that were a reasonable price. Pippi was so helpful, it was an enjoyable experience.
