- EricLadera Ranch, CA5 contributionsRodrigo was beyond cool! He was awesome. Rodrigo was prompt at pick up and had great pre-trip communications. He was polite and extremely knowledgeable. He took us too great spots and was an great photographer. Rodrigo also went out of his way and extended our trip to hit a few points of interest for us. His car was also very comfortable and safe. I highly recommend using Rodrigo if you want to knock out a lot of places in one day…he’ll make it happen. - Brigitte GVancouver, Canada38 contributionsWe spent a whole day with Ivo, who picked up at our Airbnb and took us to some of the most beautiful spots in the area. Our tour included a few stunning viewpoints on the coast, a walking tour of Obidós, and a guided visit through Batalha. We also stopped for a swim at a lagoon I wouldn't have known of, to refresh our kids!! Ivo is not only super knowledgeable about the local and national history and culture, but also friendly and relatable. Impeccable English, too. Thanks Ivo for the fabulous day! - Marjolein A1 contributionWe had a fantastic day with Hernâni driving around in Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Condeeiras and can recommend this tour to everyone.
Hernâni is a very knowledgable guide. He knows a lot about the park, about the nature, biodiversity, geology and history of the park. He had a good feel of what we were interested in, which was basically all of the above. He brought us to some unique sites with dinosaur footprints and fossils, but also drove us to spectacular views. During some small hikes he showed us all different kinds of flowers, herbs and vegetation and explained park management in relation to the impact of the quarries. You could sense his love for the park. Besides all this, he treated us on a homemade cake and some delicious herbal tea during lunch. In the end we also received some great wine from a local vineyard. We started with a walk through the fields, where Umbelina told us about her life and showed us her sheep.
The cheese making process was really interesting. From milking the sheep to making the cheese, Umbelina's knowledge and help made it very rewarding.
