Lovely views from its remparts, a well preserved medieval and renaissance architecture amongst a bustling market town.
The old city walls at the top afford an excellent view across the viaduct and all the surrounding countryside along with a short walk around the rampart walls to see all sides.

Fantastic on a sunny day with amazing views and would be brilliant at dawn and sunset too - next time.
A new tourist information venue on site, looked brilliant and is possibly open by now, in time for St Piran (100th saint) to be installed towards the end of July amid planned celebrations.
Les Remparts de Dinan Dinan

The promenade offers a lengthy walk with beautiful views and many places to stop for a beverage or two.
Lots of little cafes but if you walk one Street back, parallel to the promenade there are similar cafes with slightly lower prices since they don't have the sea front view.

Our first meal was prepared for us by Chef Poul and gave us a pre-view of delicious dishes we would learn to prepare during the week.
We had a car, and I would recommend one, but we also hitched a ride with another student on a couple of occasions to visit the local sites, as did another student who was car-less.
