Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Coming towards end of season so not so many food trucks, stall to choose from, however, what was there was fabulous. We sampled a couple of dishes and were not disappointed. We chose our food by the length of the people waiting in line!

If you are interested in local history then this is worth a visit and gives you an understanding of the Ariki on Rarotonga and particulary of Pa Ariki of Takitumu. We took the full guided tour and were there for over an hour. At $25 it was probably at the pricy end but there was a cheaper tour for $18 which didnt include the native and medicinal plants and a browse with no tour for $10. In hindsight the $18 tour would suffice, certainly just browsing does not enable you to get an understanding of who the people were and how they connected.

Loved joining local believers for Sunday worship. Wonderful singing in multi-part harmony. Remembered to dress appropriately - no beach attire, men wear longs and women dress modestly.

Great accommodations, appointments of the house was more than Acceptable had everything we needed as a group, private pool, paddle boards etc. very central to caffès and other amenities all within walking distance & direct access to the lagoon. Miri had most businesses operating where there was still some limitations back around downtown Raro.
the only improvement would be a blender, it would have made cocktail night easier 😎🥳😂

The only downside of the whole trip was having to travel out of Auckland Airport, half arse service and the only thing on offer before our flight was a pie on a paper plate and a coffee that cost us $40 that was 2 pies & 2 coffee’s. they really will need to pick up their game, if that’s the impression they wish to leave for travelers and tourists, poor bloody NZ
