Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did a cultural tour of the mosque with our guide Sam.
You have to book the cultural tour to have the guide but it doesn't cost anything.
Being with Sam she gave us so much information and history about the Mosque.
This Mosque is truly stunning, we have done the Taj Mahal but I think this is more impressive.
You have lots of things you can do in Abu Dhabi and Dubai but make this a must visit.

Could not visit Dubai and miss the opportunity to head up to the top of the tallest building in the world. Our 1030 am slot worked perfectly, no queue ! Swift lift , amazing views and a very cheap gift shop . Lots of photo opportunities. We had a great half hour up there , left with big smiles.

    A great shopping mall.
From high street shops like Zara, to designer brands like Dior, this mall has it all.

It’s so big, we didn’t even get round the whole thing, and we were there for 5 hours.

The waterfall with the divers is stunning.

It wasn’t too busy and most queues were fairly small within shops and food outlets.

The outside fountain is great as well and our children loved the fountain show.

The queue for the taxi rank is WILD. I’ve never seen anything like it. There was at least 40 people in front of us at one point, and at least another 2 rows behind us. We queued for over an hour which wasn’t ideal at all.
Especially when one of the kids needed the toilet and finding the nearest one was a nightmare.

Would defo go here again, but would dedicate a whole day to see everything. Especially because we would like to see the Burj Khalifa and fountain show at night, instead of the day.

Kalman was great. He took us through many areas of the old city and provided a fascinating account of the sites we visited and shared interesting anecdotes which brought history alive. He was very knowledgeable and had a slew of information at his fingertips. All of us from the adults, teens and kids, really enjoyed the tour. We would highly recommend using Kalman!

Visited as a part of a group tour with a fantastic guide. Sadly tourism is down in Jordan currently due to the conflict in Israel - however I felt entirely safe throughout my stay. As a result this is actually a great time to visit as the tourists numbers are down giving an opportunity to see and experience this bucket list place in relative peace. What surpised me most was the size - our guide said it would take three days to fully explore and I think we covered about 8 miles with the parts we visited. Do go with a guide who can share the history - just learning and seeing how the Nabataeans put in place systems to capture and distribute water was fascinating. You will need a hat and a good pair of shoes - but this really is a great time to visit to see Petra at its best.

Required visit for anyone interested in learning about the Jewish People or specifically the Holocaust.
Even if you visited years ago, the newer curated exhibits are much more accessible than the old museum.

This is a very beautiful mosque with the biggest chandelier made of crystals that I have seen, the biggest carpet in a mosque that I have every entered and such beautiful gardens. This is certainly one of Oman's gems. Make sure you have a tour guide with you because there are certain days and hours for tourists to visit. Make sure you are properly dressed and have a scarf with you to cover your head.

The best hotel we have stayed in across the globe. You can instantly see why this is referred to as the most luxurious hotel in the world. We stayed for a few nights and didn’t want to leave. The pool area was amazing, service outstanding and the room was stunning. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family suite which was perfect for our family. The room was so large spread across 2 floors. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
