Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a gentle walk through a lovely forest. I particularly love these particular tree ferns with the dead fronds that drape down and look like a hula skirt around the trunk. The car park is quite large compared to the Thunder Falls and the quite compact Fantail Falls

Worth pulling up to see the beach and the lookout station and the creek. Interesting information boards about the history of this spot.

A pleasant 30 minute round trip that allows the cascade of water sounds to be echoed by bird song, accompanied by the whistle of winds above the first canopy, and climaxing with the timpani of waves against rock at the small pebbly beach. A well-formed and -maintained gravel path, supplemented by board walk and short footbridges, allows for an easy walk, despite the slight gradient in places. Worth the drive in itself.

Easy to pull up by the bridge and take a few photographs of this gorge, waterfall and bridge. Lovely colour water and impressive size rocks!

My wife and I were on a tour and stopped here for a break. The beach was lovely and the weather was excellent for being outdoors.

A 40-minute return track that allows a reverse perspective on your walk in. Well formed path, with just two boggy areas (easily skirted). A series of sturdy foot bridges. Track ends rather abruptly with a picnic table and lookout point. No formed track around the lake. Back at the carpark, take the time to walk down to the confluence of the Ellery Creek and Jackson River.
