Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Egon70Hong Kong, China7,386 contributionsIt’s my second visit to the Vitra Design Museum. The bus ride from the city centre of Basel only took about 30 minutes.
Apart from going to some exhibitions, including the Nike one, and walking around the site on my own, I also joined the Vitra Campus Architecture Tour in English.
I highly recommend such guided tour. A very professional guide explained to us the history of the site and told us stories about certain buildings thereon. I also gained access to some areas and buildings including a factory (and saw the workers in action) which are otherwise closed to the public.
I easily spent half a day there.Written 22 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ronald MLoveland, CO265 contributionsMaybe this is not a place that will impress if you only have a couple of days in Switzerland, but I’ve been in Basel for 6 weeks and this retail establishment sure helps cut groceries prices more in line with US prices. Seems to be a larger selection of brands from around the world, not just Switzerland. I was able to buy some designer eyeglass frames for about half of that in the US. Good deals and payable in Euros.Written 24 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MJNAVAS1 contributionIf you are interested in art and think that the only thing to do in Weil am Rhein is to visit the Vitra Campus, then I am glad to tell you that you are totally wrong.
Annia and Volker have managed to create a wonderful space in an unique location (an old concrete factory) next to the Hadid Pavilion, where you can enjoy their artwork and company. It is the place where they work and live, and where exhibitions and events take place, but it is more than that. Visiting this sort of magic place will certainly be quite an experience.

Prices not crazy either, some cheap printsWritten 10 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AkxselRotterdam, The Netherlands414 contributionsPerfect for children 6-14. Clean pool, some slides and waves.
Combi-ticket with outside pool is rip-off, as it’s quite small without added value and the indoor part already has a small outdoor section...Written 11 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The most interesting that the park is on the border with Switzerland and France.Written 20 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
