Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- bijouMilwaukee, WI164 contributionsWe stayed at this enchanting historic villa still owned by the Capodilista family. The frescoes on every wall transport you into another era, the 16 th century to be precise. There are 4 huge main bedrooms and many many small rooms where children as well as adults could have a grand old time playing hide and seek or other games. The pool is small but La Montecchia Golf Club is across the road and has a great pool and also serves great meals. The concierge Alice was incredibly helpful. We were served breakfast everyday. One night their chef made a great dinner but she failed on the second night dinner. She didn’t follow the set menu offered. There was no starter, and the beef (and the accompanying vegetables)being the main course was the worse we had ever had in our life. Needless to say the price we paid for dinner was not worth it and there was no alternative. Needless to say the birthday dinner dinner was a flop but being surrounded by a great family the meal was soon forgotten and the brief electric outage with lights flickering and shutters banging brought lots of laughs making it a special night. There are many little restaurants offering great food within 20-25 min. Vicenza one of our favorite towns was a great place to hang out. Staying at Villa Emo Capodilista is definitely a must.Written 1 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - prima hBergamo, Italy11 contributionsS.Michele’s church was designed in 1712 by Giovan Battista Caniana and it became place of sepulture instead of S. Martino’s church for some of important families in Bergamo such as Zanchis, Vitalis and members of Caniana’s family too , in fact Gianbattista, the father, his sons and daughter and his artist grandsons are buried near the main entrance.
It has a neoclassical facade with six corinthian columns and on the top of them there is a triangular tympanum. Through the main entrance of the church, preceded by three rungs, we reach the interior of the church which has an elegant greek cross with an elliptical dome. The presbytery elevated by three rungs has a rectangular diagram divided in two spans. It is till a church visitable every weekend and someday during the week.Written 22 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
