Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had the best day with my two teenager girls. The loved it. What can I say the staff went above and beyond to help my girls, as we speak English and the rest of the group was french. They translated the instructions and gave advice. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and reasonable priced. I would also like to say at the front desk the English speaking lady was so nice she phoned a taxi for us and keep checking for it to arrive. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.

Very pretty area round the eastern edge of the Pyrenees. Little hillocks covered with patchworks of vines. Lovely glimpses of the blue mediterranean. Little clouds curling over the high peaks to the west. A protected snorkelling cove with lifeguards and a museum. Places to taste the local wine. Attractive harbours, clean pavements and neat rows of rocking sailing ships with ancient battlements. A great place to stay or to visit!

Nice safe beach , steep into deep water very quickly, clean, reasonable parking, restaurants to rear of beach catering for beach punters , life guards. Coarse sand , some cobbles and stones in sea naturally but don't need footwear, very pleasant.

We walked along the sea front on our way to the port to pick up a boat tour.
It was one of the prettiest walks once you leave the tourist shops and restaurants behind.
When we visited there was an art exhibition displayed...it is truly magnificent. I actually thought they were posters to begin with.
This really is a beautiful promenade with lots of gorgeous photo opportunities

Inviting amusement park with bright lights, good rides for the small kids and teenagers. Park early. Car park at the entrance right or left. Slightly overpriced ( mostly spent 4 or 5 euros on the rides except bumper cars) Good selection of rides but no inbetween either too easy or too scary. Good fun though for the family

Took the grandchildren and although it was a bit expensive we all enjoyed it. There were lots and lots of goats and sheep, some pigs and chickens. Some you could pet and others you can feed. Ponies to ride and bike as well. We didn't think much to the picnic lunch that we bought and wished we had taken our own.

Lovely place to spend half a day. Nice gardens to walk around with a little playground and nice views over the area. Would have loved to be able to go into the house because it looks like sleeping beauty's castle!

Proceed with caution. This is a good place but 2 hours is the maximum any one could take
A fairly reasonable level of fitness is required. Boys age 15&14 both enjoyed it but were spent after just 2 hours glad we didn't book for 4 hours. Adult and children were left with several bruised bodies in some cases very severe. One young lad in another group ended up with a broken nose.

Really worth to come here and admire the different untouched wild herbs and flowers coming out of the sand, and eventually reach the wonderful sea. Unusual.

Before coming to Argeles we knew nothing about the Retirada. this very friendly and accessible museum filled the gap in our knowledge. Very sobering and very accessibly presented. Only 4 Euros entry too for adults.

We saw this advertised multiple times in the area and thought we'd give it a go. First impressions wasn't great as i wanted to ask one question to the receptionist about prices however was told that i needed to wait whilst she was waiting on another customer to find something on their phone. She then proceeded to talk to other customers which where behind me. Despite this fact, we booked banana boating which was an incredible experience- ive never done it before and loved every second. The boat had nice chilled music whilst waiting for another group and the staff was very friendly.
