Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- francesca pCastenedolo, Italy241 contributionsIt's really beautiful visiting the area by bike: it's absolutely safe and you can wander in the small roads along the channels of the lagoon. The landscape is amazing especially at the sunset when the colours make everything magical.Written 29 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SmileyKayCluj-Napoca, Romania1,414 contributionsThe best starting point for all your travels to Venice, which is max. half an hour vaporetto ride distance away.Written 24 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ErnieTravellerSandy, UK215 contributionsLocated just behind Ca Savio camp near the beach this huge museum is now concealed from the sea by trees. Lots of good restoration work and the staff are very helpful. Very interesting story about how Venice was protected from attacks. Worth a visit.Written 20 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Vittore PCity of Venice, Italy118 contributionsNot just a nice walk with great views, but also a great place to jump into the water if you are looking for some deep water (the beach is very shallow and it is a bit of a walk before you can really swimm from there).Written 19 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - thejesmeisterVerona, Italy339 contributionsOf all the beaches we've tried in this area around Venice - Cavallino, Bibione, Caorle, Jesolo - Ca' Ballarin has to the consistently the quietest, cleanest and most relaxing. Obviously there are the usual campsites dotted along the strip, but also (and we're talking about outside peak weekends here, of course) lots of near-deserted free beaches for you to pitch up and enjoy the space, the sand and the sea. Yes the wind can pick up, but there is so much going for this place if you want a walk along the shore or just a chilled lie down. Very nice indeed.Written 22 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Simon B5 contributionsNot worth a visit. Place is decayed grass is high and pigeons is the only thing left. Old books are present in the windows.
