So interesting and could have stayed longer than the two hours we were there as didn’t see the wooded area and farm. Staff are dressed up for the time . The two guides were friendly and knowledgeable and definitely brought the place to life .

The design of the galleries are really impressive, the train section being the highlight.
The only negative is some of the info on the signs needs updating, time has passed since it opened in the 1990’s and certain reference such as info on electric cars has subsequently moved on. The staff and members went above and beyond to help us.. everyone was so friendly! I had never been fishing before but can say the lake is definitely very well stocked as we witnessed many many fish being caught. The lovely fellow fishers allowed us to watch up close when they caught fish and helped us when we caught fish- it was such a lovely atmosphere! Really can not say enough positive things about this place and from listening to the future plans it is only going to get better! There is always a good turnout and it's well supported by families and friends.

There is a lovely coastal path out past the Yacht Club and the playpark was busy .
