A smaller National Trust, but very interesting. We are members so there was no charge to enter. The house floors were not level at all, it felt as if you were on a ship in one room and the furniture was really interesting. There was a priest hole and there are 10 chimneys. There is a small woodland to walk around. There is a beautiful knot garden and there are outdoor games for children to play. There is a small cafe selling ice creams & drinks. You can take a picnic as well.

I visited today with my two children and one of their friends. Really efficiently organised, friendly, informed staff. The bird show is a must. Zac is hilarious and the show is very impressive. The animals are cared for and the zoo goes beyond a curiosity for public consumption, they are genuinely engaged in welfare and sustainability. There is a lovely restaurant on site too which we thoroughly enjoyed and there are a few little shops dotted on site as well as a little gift shop with all proceeds going back into the zoo and it’s residents. Great value for a solid half a day entertainment 10/10

A tidy little park easy for walking or for those lazy carefree days just to sit and watch the world go by. We felt very safe go have a look.

A gallery with a difference - this isn't a stuffy place that makes you feel unwelcome, you can come here with your family and you know you can enjoy the place.

The staff were really helpful, only caught the name of Laura but there were lots of friendly helpful staff.
I have mobility issues and haven’t been to a stadium in years but was offer a last minute ticket in a regular seat. The staff were so helpful they opened the doors so I wouldn’t have to go through turnstiles and they offered me easier access seats that were vacant. England won 3-0 against Belgium great experience for me seeing women play.

I walked the full length of Smestow Valley railway walk yesterday (and back) for the first time.
I started by Aldersley stadium and picked up a coffee at cupcake Lane station, 5 minutes down the track.
The weather was windy, but dry, so good walking conditions. There's lots of wildlife and artwork along the way to keep an eye out for.
Do try to plan your walk to arrive at Wombourne before 2.30pm as the cafe closes and there are no facilities around.
