Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a beautiful place in the hills above Trondheim. I walked around the lake and it was very scenic and peaceful. I have to say, as an American from the West Coast, I was not expecting or prepared for the snow or ice I encountered in mid-May. I slipped and slid in several places and even fell once. Meanwhile, the Norwegians were running and biking over the ice with no issues. It actually kind of blew my mind. LOL. Still, this is a lovely forested hiking area with lakes and all different kinds of terrain. The Norwegian people I encountered were very kind and helpful giving me directions and, of course, they speak fluent English. I recommend this spot, just be prepared for snow and ice even in late Spring.

The atmosphere in a hytte is great: peaceful, lots of wood, in tune with Nature, skiing and hiking present. Local folks. This one has much of this, right in Trondheim.

Has been here forever, in the heart of Bymarka. Splendid starting point for skiing and walking. Used to be painted white, did´nt like the new red painting .. but.

It was ok, quite empty when we visited yesterday. The staff were very friendly but a few of the stuff was not opened .
I liked how you can get them carts to pull your stuff around. You can use some of the BBQs there . But surely not worth the money they charge to enter

When I booked tickets for here the venue struck me as a little weird to say the least, which didn't really change once we arrived. Fortunately we got here pretty early and got a decent view of the stage. The show was fantastic an the crowd loved it.

Getting to and from the venue was via organised bus from Trondheim town centre where main roads were closed off and despite the huge amount of people was organised pretty well.

As a venue it was good and despite the strange shape the ski centre gave there seemed to be good viewing points from most points.

Great experience for our family group with 5 kids ages 8-12. Our amazing guide Erlend, or Al, made the day perfect with his hard work, lovely personality, overall knowledge and enthusiasm - and also made us an awesome campfire, snowfa (snow sofa) and served us homemade cinnamon buns from the local bakery! We drilled several holes in the ice, everyone got to have their individual fishing rod - but unfortunately we did not catch any fish. I guess we just weren’t lucky this time. But that did not take away anything from the overall experience, and we felt really safe and taken care of out there on the ice.

We did the night time glow trip, and this was the perfect adventure to start oir first trip to Trondheim.
The kayaks are all lit up, and our guide, Giedre was fantastic. She was fun, showed us the sights and told us some of tbe history of Trondheim.
Dry suits and safety vests are provided.
If you want to do a unique, fun experience, this is the one for you..
I cannot recommend it enough, and would give 6 stars if I could!
Thank you Giedre and Trondheim Kayak for making our holiday a fantastic trip to remember.

The adventure park is a recent and popular addition to the Teveltunet holiday village. For just above € 30 you can spend the whole day in the adventure park. It's got a great number of routes in various levels of difficulty. Sometimes the routs criss cross each other using the same trees and you end up literarily having to take a leap of faith to get down to the ground again. The zip line routes also have some climbing challenges before you can throw yourself over the lake. The view over the Brudesløret (Bridal veil) waterfall when crossing over a shaky wooden bridge is quite spectacular. With the harness and secured to the steel track you feel secure although you will have to confront some fears in completing the routes (colour coded for various difficulty levels).
