Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Leddfoot6 contributionsI think that it is awesome that you can sled for 10 minutes nonstop. Just catch the train back up. Warm coffee and waffles up top make it awesomWritten 24 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bjørn RoksvoldOslo, Norway71 contributionsLast winter, 2017/18, I used this facility many evenings and also weekends. The preparaion was excellent. There is no que for the lift. The slope is quite short, but very close to Oslo south and woth a visit. Parking is no problem. There is also a great separate area for small kids and rookies with its own easy to use lift. They also have this large tent and they have barbecues ready for making your own food. The location is close to a lake and with great view. You can, when the ice is safe, also go cross country on the lake while your kids are having fun in the downhill slopes or the childrens area.Written 13 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NoajthanAldershot, UK40 contributionsBooked online for 2 x 2 hour private lessons for consecutive days.
Note you need to provide or rent skigear (its not provided with the lesson).
Bought a 2-day skipass on first day at the Tryvann Top Centre as the 2-day option wasn't offered online.
The instructors were patient and spoke English; first day a Serbian guy (Marco) and an American young lady on second day.
They took my daughter on a number of green, blue and red runs once they has assessed her level (beginner/intermediate).
Weather was foggy on both days with occasional falling snow and limited visibility but the runs and lifts all stayed open. They are floodlit during the late afternoon.
Once you have your equipment you need to keep hold of it overnight or else hire a locker (at the Top Centre) to keep it overnight. The locker access feature costs about £8 and is added to your skipass.
Easy to get to Tryvann Top Centre by metro from Oslo centre (line1). Then take the shuttle bus (#43) for a 10 minute or so ride up to the Top Centre.
Use the Oslo Pass or a 24 hour 'Ruter' bus/metro pass for free transport.Written 15 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
