Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Follow a dirt track off-road to a carpark, followed by a really interesting and beautiful walk. In May there was water in the Gorge and parts are slippy.. also looks quite rock-slide prone so do be careful.

We visited a few years ago with our brother & sister in law.

We just turned up butc we were made to feel very welcome & we're given a tour of the winery before settling down to the serious business of some wine tasting.

A really great chance to sample some great Cypriot wines.

We had a wonderful time at Lara Bay during our stay in Cyprus. The route there was tricky, especially as there are current works ongoing and our sat nav was advising us to pass through road closures, however, once we reached the beach front itself, it was a remarkable experience. The beach itself was Sandy and the waters were so calm and clear. One of us was a nervous swimmer and throughly enjoyed the calmness of the waters and how clear they were. We sadly didn’t get to spot any turtles, but then again, we wouldn’t wish to disrupt or disturb nature. We had a wonderful experience all in all and would highly recommend a visit though not to the detriment or disruption of nature.

This church is well worth a visit even if you are not religious and that would be because of the history and archaeology of the place.
There is an information board outlining the history and phases of construction as well as pointing out where St Paul was, apparently, tied to a pillar and whipped.
There are mosaics and lots of pillars of differing stone and the foundations of an earlier even larger church can be seen.
In order to try to protect the mosaics and the church environs a raised walkway has been constructed to take visitors from near the entrance to the site to the church door. Unfortunately, when we visited this walkway was blocked off but no reason was posted on the site to give a reason why that had been done. As a result we were unable to enter the church itself.
The area is popular with the local cat population by the way and the seem to be semi feral at least.
Finally, there is no charge for visiting the site.

Paphos Ethnographic Museum is well worth a visit. The private museum, the family's old home, boasts an interesting collection of family memorabilia, traditional artifacts and archaeological finds of George Eliades. It was a pleasure to view the collection and discuss their significance with George's daughter, the custodian.

One day we hired a car and went to St George's. This lovely little church is beautifully located and was an interesting stop on our travels, toilets are over the road as is a couple of shops.

What an absolute gem! The staff are all so lovely, friendly and helpful. A huge selection of drinks available and at reasonable prices (the red grapefruit spritz was sooo good, tasted so fresh, probably the best drink I had during my whole trip!) It’s also such a great location perfect for people and sea watching. Loved it, I will definitely visit again if I’m ever back in the area.

Our family of 5 (three teenagers and their parents) had a great time in the Lockdown Paphos. We've done two rooms, which were really well set up. While the problems itself were linear, they were not too difficult, and fun to solve. Almost all of the challenges involved some elements of cooperative problem solving, which worked really well for us. The game master was helpful, proactive when needed, but did let us sweat a little - as she should have done.

It was a very enjoyable part of our extended weekend break in Paphos - thank you!

My daughter and me took an one hour massage, and loved every minute of it. The massage itself was very professional, with alot of sensitivity to our body. Tali, the owner was helpful and very friendly, made this experience even better. Thanks alot, and hope to visit again soon
