Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The tour was excellent! Really enjoyed the natural scenery and old Cypriot villages. Heaps of cultural heritage.
Anna’s commentary (English) was really informative and enjoyable - she’s full of positivity! Antonis was an excellent driver - super smooth! Both took really good care of us regardless of age :)
Do ask for them when booking, you’ll have a wonderful tour :)

The guys either behind us or leading the way gave us their low down on each place we stopped at and were very safety contious making sure our trip was as amazing as it was . thank you guys .100% recommended

We did the 5hr tour, and I've got to say it was well worth it. We hired a quad for our son while me and the wife had a 2 seat buggy. First part is on roads, up to the ship wreck and St George's. This was followed by off road to the Turtle conservation area, then on to Lara Bay for lunch. We paid the €10 for lunch which was beautiful, we chose calamari, chips and fresh salad. This was then followed by more off road, a little bit on road, and more off road to Adonis baths. The scenery and the views are amazing, but I can't leave out how fantastic the staff are. They're absolutely fantastic, from the staff checking you in to the guides on the tour including the dog. If anyone is thinking about doing a tour my advice is just do it, you certainly won't regret it. The last thing I'll add is make sure you wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty. You will end up covered in dust, but what a blast you'll have.

We had a really great day. We had Andreas as a driver and he was full of information. There is a bit of walking so good shoes are really recommended. But if you dont want to do the walks you can choose not to. It is a long day but you get to see so much that you normally wouldn't. We would highly recommend the trip.

Embarked on this solo trip, it was brilliant, The tour guide made excellent stops, both scenic and educational. The staff were top-notch, there were plenty of opportunities for photos and rest breaks. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys adventure, nature, and exploring Cyprus.

We booked a three hour village and mountain tour on a two seater buggy. We ended up being the only people on the tour which was amazing. Our guide was Costas who was so friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and took us to a coffee shop in the mountains and met some local people. Brilliant experience and highly recommend this tour. Next time we are here we will try a different tour. Thanks again Costas for an amazing day. David and Sandra from Scotland

There seemed to be a problem when we arrived as we were told to be there for 10 but boat did not leave till 11.15. We dealt with Tom who was very helpful and I was impressed as when I contacted head office they said no one in a wheelchair. But Tom and the Captain of the boat said no problem they would help. As my friend could walk just a little on sticks they kept the wheelchair at the harbour for us. The boat trip was great the staff very pleasant and plenty of drinks and the food was lovely. The only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 is because on our return there was supposed to be a coach to take us back to our hotel but there was not one. Apart from that a lovely day and again Tom was very helpful.

Mario picked us up promptly from the hotel and took us across to the Sea Caves before heading to the boat to visit the Blue Lagoon. While some parts of the jeep ride are a little bumpy, Mario made the experience so much fun with his incredible personality and sense of humour. He kept all the different groups on the tour engaged and involved with humour and his extensive knowledge of the terrain. He was absolutely fantastic and made the entire thing fun from start to finish. The blue lagoon is lovely, worth bringing towel to dry off!

We had a great day out. A really interesting tour of the Akamas peninsula with our guide Zeus - an excellent driver around some challenging terrain, and a fluent and amusing English speaker. The gorge was beautiful and luckily our TUI rep Georgia at the Leonardo Laura Splash resort recommended sturdy walking shoes, as there were lots of rocks to clamber over and streams to negotiate.

We stopped for a coffee at Lara Beach and then went to see where the green turtles lay their eggs on the beach. Zeus gave an interesting talk about how this endangered species is recovering its numbers thanks to conservation.

Next stop was Aphrodite’s spring which is where the goddess fell in love with the mortal Adonis. It was here that one of our party got down on one knee to propose! Not a dry eye when she said yes 🥰

After stopping in the mountains for pictures we continued in to our lunch venue where we enjoyed a typical Cypriot meal (Greek salad, roasted meats and potatoes) with wine.

Sadly the day we went it was too windy to sail, with a local authority ban on any tourist boats leaving harbour, Instead, we had a little wander and a drink in Latchi.

Despite the disappointment we still had a fantastic day out. Thanks, Georgia, for the recommendation and to Zeus for being a great guide.

Excellent day out.... Golden Buggies were easy to deal with and easy to find. Buggy was in good condition and we were given good instructions to locate the destinations we wanted to go to (Avakas gorge walk and Lara Bay).
Really fun day out... highly recommended!
