Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Compared to the splendor of the Paphos arceological site it looks like there is not much to see. However, one has to admire the clever choice of the site, a small peninsula with a good view to the sea as well as the surrounding are, and it's Cyclopean-style walls, which were build more than 3000 years ago around 1200BC.
The small museum hosts a number of exquisite artefacts from the colonisation of Cyprus by the Mycenaean Greeks

an abandoned village very near the Gerovasa village and the iron bridge of the British times, another attraction. The majority of the people who lived there were Turkish Cypriots. It was abandoned after the Turkish invasion.
