The tour got rescheduled to a day earlier to weather reasons which resulted in us having a great weather and enjoying the craters and the coastlines from above. ☕️Hot cocoa was delicious and we stargazed together thru an extraordinary telescope 🔭 .

- snaedislReykjavik, Iceland7 contributionsMy amazing afternoon started when I showed up at Egilsstaðir airport and met up with the fantastic Island Aviation crew!
As I stept into the aircraft I could feel it right away that it was extremely comfortable and it felt really safe!
The seats were really nice, there was not too much noise from the plane, and the headsets were perfect.
The two pilots flying were outstanding, both so nice and trustworthy.
They were really good at showing me the spectacular landscapes and the view the whole trip was amazing!
In spite of a short 30 minute flight, the time was enough for me to see the beautiful Iceland from a different point of view and to get from one place to another.
....... and all my luggage fitted into the cargo hold :)

- pmui88New York City6 contributionsThe flight over Holuhuran left me breathless and it will go down as one of my best memories of Iceland. How many people can say they saw a live volcano? The day we went was picture perfect, clear blue skies. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and pointed out the various sights of Iceland along the way. .
