Our excellent guide Elisa did a great job driving in some terrible weather, so bad the road was closed on the way back to Reykjavik but she got us all back safely. She was full of enthusiasm and information about the country and the stops on the tour. Loved the waterfalls, glacier and the wild and windy black beach but I definitely would like to go back when the weather isn't so extreme to spend more time enjoying the amazing landscape and scenery.

Sadly we didn't get to go on this trip - it was cancelled because of the weather on the morning of trip. I still wanted to leave a review though, just to say that they gave good notice of the cancellation, and we got a full refund. I really appreciated that - as I'm sure there are many unscrupulous companies who might take your money and take you out there even knowing you had no chance of seeing the lights. We'll definitely be back to try again.

This trip was so beautiful (despite the not so beautiful weather!) we saw humpback whales and that’s all that matters. It was so lovely to see them in the wild, we loved it. The crew were so nice and the boat was comfortable and had everything we needed to keep warm. Plus we were told and had access to so much information about the whales, it was fantastic

My adult daughters and I were on a quick trip to Iceland, mainly to see the Northern lights and walked from our hotel to the Lava Show just to have some fun. We loved it! Educational, well-presented, safe for all ages and memorable. Worth a side-trip in Reykjavik. You won't be sorry!

Excellent trip. Would highly recommend as it takes in some stunning, must visit spots.

Our guide was Darren from California. Fantastic guide. A mine of information, but also great fun. Our bus driver, under tricky conditions (we had lots of snow) was brilliant also. We were in great hands on this trip.

We had a great time on this tour, our guide (John Paul) was a fantastic host with his knowledge and expertise in northern light chasing, when the weather wasn’t on our side with cloud coverage and snow/hail storms, he did not give up! Just the commitment you need because after a couple of hours of no shows, we were treated to a breathtaking display which we will treasure forever.

    Thankyou for the memories

We took the South Iceland Glaciers, Waterfalls and Black Sand Beach Day Tour from Reykjavik, by Bus Travel Iceland. It was outstanding! And it was largely due to the Icelandic guide, Perla. Her positive personality, humour, personal stories, and knowledge made the trip fabulous! And she made our trip to Iceland extra special. We have no hesitation in recommending this tour and in particular this tour guide. It is well worth going if you get the extraordinary guide, named Perla.

Great tour, the minibus was comfortable. The guide, justinas, was very funny and told us a lot of informations about all the things we saw out the windows. He also gave us candy and we made an extra stop to feed horses.

We had a really lovely afternoon here today. We were given a horse and shown how to get on to it. Then we all set off together through the beautiful scenery. Some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The snow was sparkling like glitter. My horse was called Patti and he was very good and looked after me the whole time. Not wanting to go fast. We stay with the slow group and walked around the picturesque loop. With passing horses doing the wonderful tolt I was quite envious wishing I could ride a horse. No problems with connection and drop off. This was streamlined no waiting about at all.
    Perfect afternoon. Thank you

Great tour around the main golden circle sights. Plenty of time at each stop, and our tour guide Beggi was fantastic. He kept us informed and entertained with his brilliant stories and knowledge throughout the trip. We were amazed he managed to keep calmly talking whilst driving through snow and hailstorms! He even sang us a traditional Icelandic folk song!

Finishing off at the Blue lagoon was out of this world and the perfect end to a brilliant day.

Beggi was a wonderful singer, story teller & inspiational speaker. We feel so lucky to have had him on such a cold & windy day. He made the trip just as great as the geological aspects!

When we arrived in Iceland the weather was not ideal. The initial cruise was cancelled as it was just too cloudy! Elding called us to rearrange.

We went out for the cruise the night before we left.... and what a fabulous night we had. We were treated to a wonderful display of lights from the Aurora Borealis. Apparently one of the brightest they had seen in a few days.

The cruise was an awesome way to see the lights, there was a bar on board, and the staff were great. The weather also played ball and it was calm out at sea.

The best bit, was you could literally just watch and take it all in with you own eyes, as they had someone on board taking photos, which you were able to download after the event.

Thank you to the girl who was talking us through the evening. She had so much energy and enthusiasm, she was an absolute joy!

If your outdoor tour got cancelled, this museum is a good fallback. The northern lights show runs every 30mins, there’s a volcano show complete with “volcanic smell”, and an ice cave made with actual ice from a nearby glacier.

Although the best part was the restaurant and cafe on the top floor. Your eyes aren’t playing tricks, the platform is *actually* rotating. You can dine by the window and watch your view change. Plus, if you sit there long enough you’ll eventually be rotated to the cafe :)

You can ask reception for a taxi on the way out and Sky Lagoon is only 10 mins drive, so its a convenient activity to do before or after.

Great experience, the tour brought us to many amazing places, and despite all we saw in a single day, it never felt rushed, and we never felt that the times were too long as well. Our guide, Sunny, was very enthusiastic and gave us great information, and made the tour better
