- Yolanda2 contributionsWe had such a great experience with EV Travel. From selection of the tour and firming up details traveling with four adults and a child under 2 to navigating the fun, evolving weather was important elements of our experience. Due to weather conditions, we changed our Westman Islands Tour to the Silver Circle Tour, but there was no disappointment at all. Thomas was able to accommodate our distinct personalities, including providing energetic and informative facts about Iceland and directly about the areas we visited. I was so appreciative of how engaged he kept my young adult son. Thomas predicted we would be able to see the volcano eruption before we left the country, and he was correct!! This experience was well worth it! ALSO – As Iceland benefits greatly from tourism, Thomas’ company leverages their resources to help offset this from a sustainability perspective. They use electric vehicles and plants a tree for every tour purchase – AWESOME!! He took me ice climbing on the Solheimajokull glacier, and we explored it in total safety. The equipment was brand new, and together with Vagelis' know-how and his very clear experience and professionalism in such conditions, I did not feel fear or hesitation for a moment!
We also went to the unreal ice cave in Katla, which I was speechless as soon as I saw it. After crossing this too in complete safety, we returned to my accommodation, and I now had a fantastic memory-experience etched in my mind.
I highly recommend.
Vageli, you are exactly the guide I will have the next time I come again.

It was part of a school trip and the kids absolutely loved it! - Coleen K8 contributionsWe went to this unbelievable ice cave and Marcin was our tour guide! First off the tour was unbelievable but was difficult for seniors. Marcin helped my husband who is almost 80 maneuver through the cave. He allowed us to rest when necessary and never did we feel as if we were a burden. Never would have made it if it weren’t for him. - WenCke7 contributionsAn amazing northern lights tour with our guide Gummi. We had somuch fun and the northern lights was so beautiful. We had some hot choclate and cookies and Gummi explained a lot and also had some nice and funny stories. - Elaine M2 contributionsBjarmi and Daniel were like having savvy Icelandic cousins. Two friends and I were visiting in late January/early February, and many of our plans were scuttled due to weather. These smart, industrious, knowledgeable and immensely likeable gentlemen put together a private tour for us on short notice and generally provided us with transportation in the Tesla Taxi anywhere we wanted to go, even during a blizzard. We had wonderful time with them, including a visit to the their vegan restaurant Junkyard, which even my non-vegan companions enjoyed. You will not be disappointed, whatever you do with Level Up Iceland and Tesla Taxi. We feel so fortunate to have met them when our pre-arranged airport pick up never showed, and we happened to meet Daniel as our taxi driver in the queue. - SarahRuth610London, UK60 contributionsGutti provided an amazing Golden circle tour for our group of 5 friends. We had an excellent day, visiting the main golden circle locations as well as seeing some lovely scenery and interesting sights along the way. The tomato farm was a great lunch stop. Gutti is very knowledgable and friendly, the Mercedes minivan was very comfortable and beautifully presented.
The bonus of this type of tour was being picked up directly from our accommodation and having some flexibility with how we spent our time at each stop. Having a personal guide to answer all our questions both about the tour and Iceland in general was also a highlight.
