The brief at the start was comprehensive, all of the clothing we were provided meant the rubbish weather didn’t diminish the experience and we had an exhilarating time. We felt completely safe in her hands, and the small group size made the experience even more special. The cave, discovered in November last year, is absolutely breathtaking. Got picked up in the lifted Mercedes van and headed right up to the golden circle (2 hour drive with plenty of q and a with driver and history lesson)
Made stop for coffee then started off roading in the snow (15-20 min to get to base camp)
Hit the snow mobiles for a quick ride to view the glacier (30 min ride)
Then on the way home stopped by waterfalls and geysers and finished off with view of North Atlantic and euro tectonic plates

He is a great communicator and made sure everyone in the group was looked after. Although it was snowy, the hike was reasonably easy for anyone of average fitness. - lynrTampa, United States4 contributionsAlthough the Lights did not cooperate on our tour night, we were entirely satisfied with our experience with Happy World Tours. You learn everything you need to know about an operation when things don't go your way (due to no fault of the company itself). Our guide, Ollie(sp?) was knowledgeable, friendly and worked hard getting us to the best dark & secluded spot for viewing...we drove past many big tour busses stopped in parking lots. Who wants to stand around with hundreds of other people next to tour busses running in a parking lot? Ollie shared plenty of history and info on the area, the Lights, and the starry sky, and he went out of his way to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. Although the Lights did not appear, the delicious hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies were a bonus. Perhaps most importantly, this tour company absolutely went to great lengths working with us to rebook another tour before we departed Iceland. This says a lot about the tour operator's quality and integrity. Ultimately, my sisters and I decided to wait and rebook on our next visit to Iceland. - Penny LBracknell13 contributionsAble to rebook easily when the tour was cancelled due to bad weather. When we finally went out the driver worked hard to find the best places to see the lights. We made several stops and were rewarded with seeing them with the naked eye plus some great photos. The driver also took photos of us with the lights behind and we were able to upload all these for free within 12 hours. - Ryan M1 contributionThis was my first time in an ATV. Our guide did an excellent job, and it was a great experience! I would recommend it. It was super easy to connect with the company, and they dropped us off in front of our hotel afterward. Our guide (Gonzalez I think) was exceptional! - Bob CBuffalo, NY3 contributionsWe weren't sure at first how we'd feel about this Jeep Safari, but it was fantastic. Our guide, Hjalti Björnsson, shared lots of fascinating information about what we were seeing, how it came to be, how the environment affected the people who lived there, and more. He's a seasoned hike-leader, and he very patiently and thoroughly explained the volcanic craters, the impact of the glaciers, the colors of the mountains. - Naomi S4 contributionsThe scenery of the landscapes were beautiful to look at whilst driving on top of ice and rocks. It was such a fun experience and learning to drive an ATV gave room for enough adrenaline rushes. The guidance from the tour guides, the given (clean) equipment, the facilities, the pickup service etc... They were all perfectly prepared for us. Our trip was filled with breathtaking beautiful scenery, unexpected gems, amazing hikes, and the best view we could have for the northern lights.
