  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The golden circle tour was already a highlight - also we wished to have more time to spend in no mans-land - but the tour with Franklin, an original young Iceman, was specially. He alone is a amazing with his humour, his deep voice and his fresh engagement... "the sun kisses the Gulfoss - what lucky guys we are..." his mother can be very proud of her son!

Top spots and probably the best touristic way of seeing all this without doing too much harm to nature. The guide was great, telling stories with lots of humorous references and sharing his own and local view on things!

Our leisurely walk around Reykjavik was led by the amiable and knowledgable Tomas. No question was too much bother, no wind cold enough to lessen his enthusiasm for the task in hand, expertly guiding us motley group of strangers through the streets and history of Iceland’s capital city. Highly recommended!

The glacier Lagoon and the Diamond Beach were beautiful. We were lucky and there were seals in the glacier lagoon. The drives were long, which is because of the distance inevitable. Our guide (Alain) made the best out of that and explained a lot about the mountains we were passing by and other sights that can be seen. He did have a lot of knowledge about the places, which was very nice. I was happy, that I could visit the Diamond Beach, although I stayed in Reykjavik the whole time. I would have wished to have a little more time there though, but the weather was not too good. Especially the lunch stop was a little too long for myself, but I also brought my own lunch and there wasn't too much else to do and I wished to have more time at the Diamond Beach instead. The dinner stop was at a better place, because the Vik Sand Beach was close by and I had my dinner there. We did have enough time at the lagoon. The lagoon and the Diamond Beach are close by. I recommend bringing rain proof clothing, if it should rain. We drove with a big bus, but the places were still not too crowded, as the group spread out. At the end of the tour we got a discount code for further tours. Our driver Thomac did a faboulous job as well.

Cannot rate this funky walking tour highly enough. Lalli was our guide. He was superb. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and funny. We learnt so much about Iceland, and he didn't gloss over the bad bits either. Was an excellent walk around the city centre and we discovered places we didn't know. It was topped off with a hotdog (yum) and some money saving tips. Would definitely recommend this tour if you want to know the history of this amazing country and get it delivered by one of the friendliest people going.

Lovely afternoon in such a staggeringly beautiful island. Lilly was a fab guide and awesome driver (snowy roads were nothing to her!) shame some folk couldn't keep to the times so meant we had to snip bits off time at some locations to make it up.

Stefan I. was our guide, and what a great guide he was! We dove into the stories and weird magic deeply ingrained in Icelandic culture, all with many laughs along the way.
Would do it again just to hang with Sefan!

This Golden Circle Super Jeep and Snowmobile tour was steep in price but I felt it was well worth it. Toti was our lead guide and he did a fantastic job leading us throughout our long day tour. It began in the morning at 8 am when I got picked up in his Super Jeep outside my hotel at bus stop 9. Once Toti picked up everyone at their respective stops we started heading on our way to the Golden Circle area… we even saw the volcano that erupted that same morning in the far distance from the Jeep. Our first stop was at the famous Gulfoss waterfall but there wasn’t too much to see of it because it was mostly frozen. After that, Toti took the super jeep on the snowy trek towards the snowmobile sight. It was quite a long and often bumpy ride through the thick snow but Toti did a great job and it took about 40 minutes to reach the snowmobile site. Once we got there, we the followed the instructions set out by the snowmobile instructors about getting our suits on and how to use the snowmobiles. Soon we were on our way and we went about 25 minutes out a point in the snowy wilderness and then went 25 minutes back to the snowmobile departure site. It was an amazing experience and I thank all the team members at that snowmobile site for leading us on that amazing excursion! After the snowmobile tour Toti and the super jeep brought us to our last two stops which were an hour long stop at the Golden Circle where the famous Strokkur Geyser was and then finally at an observation platform where we saw amazing views of Thingvellir National Park. After that, we head back to Reykjavik and I was back at my hotel around 8 pm. Big thanks once again to Toti for being our lead tour guide and super jeep driver throughout this whole day and big thanks to the snowmobile instructors of Mountaineers of Iceland for leading us on that amazing snowmobile excursion! I thoroughly enjoyed it - Nolan

Will booked this tour last minute to go on the 31st December and so glad we did, the tour was fantastic, travelling with our 9yr old it’s great that the coaches as well as having comfortable reclining seats also have charging points and WiFi.
Our guide whose name I’ve forgotten but could be Kristin was brilliant an asset to the company her knowledge and information was interesting without being boring, she told some lovely stories about elves etc along the way. Yes the trip is long but has plenty of stops so you don’t feel like you’ve been stuck on a coach, the stops were stunning and had plenty of time to explore. Definitely recommend this company.

This tour was everything we hoped it'd be and more. It's perfect for couples, families, and solo travellers alike. Our tour guide "Thress" (might have spelled wrong) was incredible in every sense - he shared so many interesting facts along the routes to each destination and made plenty of stops for snacks/meals/restrooms. Many of the most beautiful, memorable parts of our vacation to Iceland were from this 3-day tour. I would recommend it (and Arctic Adventures) to absolutely anyone.
