Lastly, we quickly learned that food and drink in Reykjavik is quite expensive, which made the value of this tour even more fantastic.
Great food (the quality and variety of food and places was great, and lots of food so do go hungry!), small group, relaxed pace and Bara our tour guide was fantastic - she was super knowledgeable and friendly and...
Wake Up Reykjavik Reykjavik
Wonderful to learn about the sights of Reykjavik while sampling its delicious food and drink.
We had such an amazing time on the nightlife tour, a really fun group and the tour guides were beyond wonderful!! Got to see and try a little bit of everything, would love to try the food tour they have as well :)
Valur is very knowledgable about food and Reykjavik, and has plenty of recommendations to help make your culinary (and beer!) experience in Iceland enjoyable.
The food tour will show you great local places to eat the best food (lobster soup was our favorite).

There's no food, but they are open about brining it in (the place across the street does takeout).
We are so glad we chose to do this: fantastic food and drink and an insight into Icelandic culture and history.
I would recommend to anyone who enjoys food with a touch of history, architecture and culture starting with the beautiful Harpa Concert Hall with the added bonus of great company in our guide Helga.
I loved the gorgeous scenery of the peninsula, enjoyed unique yet tasty food, and laughed a lot with the great guide.
