Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Crystal CNewcastle upon Tyne, UK56 contributionsWe found this one from talking to the local shop keeper it really is amazing. The car park is literally 2 steps away from the beach so we left our picnic in the car . The sand on the beach is so soft and white. We stayed for a little while and enjoyed our picnic on the wooden platform. As we sat there several horse treks passed by us with other holiday makers on which was lovely to see.
We did travel over to the salt lake beside here but there wasnt any flamingos there.Written 17 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark PIsle of Wight46 contributionsWe went to the beach late season as a stop-off when we hired a car. The carparks at the top of the track leading to the beach were still very busy and the state of the parings areas themselves meant that we had to be very careful not to damage the car. We certainly would not have entertained driving down the track to the lower parking area, although some had. The beach and thermal pool was quite busy but not unpleasantly so, facilities were limited however. The heat of the pool was surprising and we really enjoyed our short visit. The goats are interesting entertainment too!Written 30 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ben F24 contributionsWe had a wonderful experience at Paradise Beach during our stay in Kos, visiting twice because we enjoyed it so much. There is plenty of parking available, and we never had an issue finding sun loungers. On our first visit, we arrived around 10 am and it was pleasantly quiet. The second time, we came in the afternoon at around 2 pm, and despite the later hour, there were still plenty of beds available.
The water is crystal clear with gentle waves, making it a relaxing spot for a swim. Though the water is a bit cool at first, you quickly get used to it once submerged. If you’re worried about fish, there’s no need—while you may spot a few, they tend to swim away once you’re in the water.
Sun loungers are reasonably priced at €15 for two, and we didn’t mind paying for such a well-maintained beach.
There’s also a great restaurant on-site. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming during both of our visits, offering fast service. The gyros were fantastic, and we highly recommend trying them.
Overall, Paradise Beach is well worth a visit if you’re in Kos! A perfect spot for a day of sun and sea.Written 8 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michelle LewisBirmingham, UK4 contributionsA very nice beach with clear demarcation where the nude section begins. My sister and I felt totally comfortable being nude there as two women in our 30s and no one bothered us, these was no one taking photos etc. We went twice during our stay, it wasn't very busy either time. The parking is right at the beginning of the beach and is free.
I'm sad to hear of the discrimination experienced by the people who rent the sun loungers, but we went further along the beach and just lay on towels right by the waters edge. There are some dunes at the back of the beach but as I found out, it's a bit stony going across so would recommend wearing Crocs or similar. I didn't explore the dunes much, only went up there to have a wee when I didn't want to go in the sea.
Overall would highly recommend.Written 21 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The pine trees, the shade, and the peacocks roaming freely create a unique atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxing walk and a connection with nature. I absolutely loved it!Written 18 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Paul26 contributionsLovely beach with great sand and easy access to the clear sea. The “Ria’s Beach” section (western part of the beach) is beautifully quiet and peaceful. Very natural - with a lovely, simple, Greek Taverna behind it (Sunset), with friendly service and one of the best doradas I’ve eaten anywhere in the worldWritten 6 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anon A3 contributionsBeyond beautiful. Quiet, secluded perfect beach. It’s connected to the Camel Restaurant at the top of the beach (also lovely and good value). 3 beach beds all day cost 12euros and ingeniously you can also order drinks (alcohol and non alcohol) to be brought to you on the beach. Plenty of (free) parking and just the loveliest day out. The owner is charming, respectful and polite and the view is breathtaking. Cannot recommend enough!Written 23 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Anne H B34 contributionsStayed at Lambi. It's approx 1/2 hour walk into Kos. There is a bus service but it's every 3/4 yo an hour service .
Coming out of Kos on the bus was hectic. You can get a taxi for about 8 euros.
Kos is very busy. Lots of restaurants and bars. Many boat trips.Written 19 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The shame is that there are lots of noisy motorcycles and beach buggies churning up the dust when we went for a walk. There is also a lot of rubbish on the side of the road - especially coffee cups and empty water bottles, a real shame. Some visitors don’t care about their natural environment. Recommend but bring a mask for the dust.Written 22 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Crystal CNewcastle upon Tyne, UK56 contributionsWell we really wanted to go to zia to see the sunset however after being told its that popular people are waiting 3 hours in cars to get back we were put off. We then got told that this beach was the next best one.
Only a short drive away we set off and arrived in time to see the sun set over the hills. It really was amazing to see. There was a few people there who had had the same idea.
Once again it was really easy to find as all attractions are signposted from the main road.Written 18 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
