It was nice to go on the water when the temperature was raising in Crete ! One of the activities I love on the hot day!
9am slop allows to go with less sun.
The arrangements were very clear before the start and it was easy to start the journey to Dia island. We were briefed what to do and what not to do on the boat all the time which is great , specially for people who had experience sailing for the first time.
Wind was strong which is great for sailing!
In lagoon we had a nice lunch and lots of time for swimming and getting to know the members of our group of 9 people. The sailing team was professional and helpful with explanations and they also prepared us lovely lunch.
    We had lovely, fun time!

What an amazing day we had with the crew on the Poseidon!
I have done a similar boat trip in the past but this one was just the best experience and topped the previous tour by miles.

Free pick up and drop off to our hotel even tho it wasn’t on the list. A simple message to ask if they would collect from our hotel and it was no problem at all.

Friendly greetings by the crew when we got there.

When we got to the fish farm I noticed that our boat stayed around longer than many of the other boats that were doing the same trip. We stayed until we had seen the dolphins, we were there a good 20 mins whilst other boats spent about 5mins in passing.

The food we received at the restaurant was the best meal I had of my holiday!

Ariel the mermaid is the best host on a boat I have ever met. She got people up dancing even when the water was super choppy they all carried on entertaining us with her dance routines! We had a lovely chat with her about where she originates from and her future ambitions as a broadway singer. Emilia I wish you all the luck in the world with this but I hope to still see you on the boat when I come back!

I cannot pick one bad thing to say about this day experience. The price is really cheap for the day,
drinks on board were not over priced and it was a really enjoyable day out.

We really enjoyed our trip to Spinalonga. The coach was very prompt and the lovely lady who was our guide for the day ( Katherina) was very friendly and informative and conducted the tour at a relaxed pace and ensured that everyone on the tour was together. The tour was a mixture of English speaking and Italian speaking people and she was able to speak in both languages and made everybody feel comfortable. The island was a very interesting place to visit and there were plenty of places to sit and find shade, but would need to take a drink with you as the island is uninhabited and there are no places on the island to buy refreshments. The boat to the island was fairly enjoyable but would say that the boat used did not have very much shade and we were on the trip on one of the hottest days ( approx 38 - 40 degrees cent.) which meant that we were in the sun for the majority of the trip to the island and back which was very uncomfortable. Also the meal (which was very good) was served on a tray which you had to balance on your knee which was difficult especially has we were sat very close to the stairs and the walkway around the side of the boat so every time somebody needed to pass by ( which was regularly) we had to keep lifting our trays up to allow people to pass. We enjoyed swimming in the sea from the boat and we enjoyed the free time around the port of Agios Nikolaos. Despite the one or two little hiccups we would definately recommend this trip.

Very nice tour in fantastic surroundings. Personnel were very friendly and attentive. The activity was well suited for our family with 2 adults and two teenagers (12 & 14). The only small thing we missed was more focus on the different species of fish we saw. But that's a tiny draw back in a fantastic trip that really lifted our vacation on Crete. Recommend warmly!

An absolute highlight on our holiday! Alexandro was an amazing captain. Even though the the sea was bumpy on our way home he navigated in a wonderful way. He was also very attentive and open minded to our wishes. The places we have seen are magical.

Overall this is a good way to see Spinalonga island for relatively cheap. The boat leaves at 12:30 but if you want preference over whether you sit in the sun or the shade then I suggest arriving around 12, as the trip is 45 minutes to get there. The boat does have refreshments on board. In the way to the island the boat stopped for 30 minutes for swimming. Personally I would’ve preferred this stop on the way back from the island as I didn’t fancy getting my hair wet and skin sticky from the saltwater to then walk around for 1.5 hours. Our English speaking guide was extremely friendly knowledgable, however there was almost too much information to take in for the time we had. We then had about 30-40 minutes to explore the island by ourselves. The island is small but to explore at a leisurely pace ideally you’d need a bit more time allowed as we only had time to explore the perimeter and not venture up to the top. Spinalonga itself is excellent and really rich in history and definitely worth the trip.

Had a fabulous Exclusive Boat Catamaran yesterday sourced through BEST Services Gran Canaria Excursions Car Rental & Airport Transfers.
We were picked up from our hotel a little late but Best Services were on top of this and kept us advised.
The catamaran was in great condition, very clean and had a total of 20 occupants.
From the start the crew of 2 kept us informed of the plan for the trip and looked after us before stepping on the boat.
A welcome drink was provided as we stepped on board.
A cruise up the coast past Mogan took us to our first stop where we could swim, snorkel and paddle board included in the price. Jet skis and paragliding were available for and additional, but reasonable cost.
We stayed for an hour then moved further up the coast where we anchored for a lunch of fresh tuna, breaded chicken, canarian potatoes, bread and salad.
    More swimming was available.
A bar was included throughout the trip, with cocktails and sparkling wine available at a small additional charge.
We then returned to Puerto Rico where our transport back to our hotel was waiting.
Callum and his crewemate looked after us superbly through the trip.
We used Best Services as a recommendation for our airport/hotel transfer.
In our experience, they have got things right.... from Sofie at the office to the pick up team, crew and return.
We will use them again and we thank them wholeheartedly for a fabulous day.

I recently went on a day excursion from Rethymno to Balos, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. Unlike my previous experience in 2021, this time I was not informed that the boat no longer docks at Balos. Instead, it stops 10 meters away from the shore, forcing passengers to disembark into deep water.

Disembarking was chaotic and frustrating, taking over 1 hour and 45 minutes to get everyone off the boat. Many people struggled because they couldn't swim, adding to the chaos. It's baffling that the government prohibits boats from docking in Balos Bay but allows them to stop 10 meters away. This rule seems nonsensical and severely impacts the experience.

When I raised these concerns with our guide upon arriving in Kissamos, his response was dismissive: "You don’t have to leave the boat, or you can get a private boat for £200." This lack of empathy and solutions was disheartening.

What was once a fun excursion in 2021 has become a waste of time. I wouldn't recommend this trip to anyone in its current state. The organizers need to address these issues, but it seems they are more interested in taking tourists' money. Save yourself the frustration and look for alternative experiences.

Carine was our guide for the day, she was very friendly, and had a lot to tell about Santorini. She also gave us very handy tips about where to go first and how to get there for the best experience possible. We really enjoyed our day there and have the feeling that we saw everything that was necessary.
We did not do the vulcano tour but stayed the 2hours in Fira. I would say a ferry back sometime later would be a bit better so there would be some extra time in the cities. But with the tips of Carine this was more possible.
I would recommend the tour, but maybe some more time on the island would be nice.

After a shaky start waiting an hour in the harbour with the wind affecting whether we could proceed with the trip we finally set off. Fortunately there were only approx 50 on the boat and there was plenty of space to lie on the deck in the sun .
I booked directly with George the day before at the harbour , paid a Deposit and then the rest on Mastercard the day of the trip.
My daughter and I enjoyed the trip , for the price we didn’t expect a grand tour of the island just a day out different to the pool hotel . You get the two swim stops as promised with opportunity to jump from the boat and then to swim to a small beach or cave . Equipment is provided if you are not a strong swimmer.
Lunch was lots of lettuce in olive oil/ vinaigrette with a large chicken breast cooked in herbs with a few slices of crusty bread … this suited me and my daughter and kept us full but there was also opportunity to purchase drinks and you can take snacks . Water melon was available too.
We got transport back to our hotel Belvedere included in the price 5 euro each for return , however the 2.5 k is walkable if you want to walk along the coast road and look at bars and shops.
Overall it was a pleasant day out and gave you a taster of the sea, you dont get to go far along the coast as you go towards Malia and then double back on yourself.
Thanks to all the staff for a lovely trip

We had a lovely day on the water with this family run company. Both Yianni and Costas were fantastic and played along with our 4 yr old so well, including multiple games of “eye spy”. Everything was perfect from communication with Natassa, our time on the boat including some sailing, the water, food and company. We decided against doing the very touristy Balos Beach and we are very happy we made this choice. A special day out for our family, and felt like we shared it with another family. Highly recommend.
