Traveling during the off season left us in a small group and let us have a very personal experiences at the vineyards sometimes being the only people there. I suggest wearing layers as the tastings we often in underground cellars that were quite cold. However, Pedro our driver, did explain it was an unusual cold for January. Pedro our driver and guide was great, very knowledgeable and passionate about Portugal. Day of are boat ride was rainy and they kept us informed and even let us reschedule for a later time in day when weather was to be better. The Port Wine served was very good. Lucas, our guide was very informative, answered all questions and gave us recommendations for the rest of our stay.
