We found great results, but some are outside Cascais. Showing results in neighbouring cities.

Loved seeing remains of historical structures, mansions along the seaside, and many good beaches for surfing and sunbathing.
It is a place for all family where you can take a walk, you can rent a bike and explore the zone, you can choose one of the beaches and enjoy a sunny day.

Tamariz Beach Estoril

The main attraction of Tamariz beach is the lovely walking path all along the sea giving the walker an extremely beautiful view of the sea, small scattered beaches along the way and fresh air.
Beautiful clean beaches and lovely cafes along the promenade.

I heard about the beautiful beaches in Cascais and I decided to check that out while visiting Lisbon.
It was late September and the water here was about 4 to 5 degrees colder than the beaches further south at costa da Caparica.

The largest beach in Cascais lies east of Rua Frederico Arouca (the main, mosaic-paved street in town) and is the best place to lounge on the sands with a drink in your hand.
... around - Didn’t see or experience any theft - Not too many beach vendors and they aren’t pushy Cons: - Water is polar ice cold - Many teenagers trying to show off to one another around - Beach bar is expensive

We took the train to Cascais from Lisbon, and were so glad we did , the beaches up to Estoril are stunning and the town itself is a marvellous place to stroll around and chill out .
We looked at a couple of the other nearby beaches, but decided that this one had everything we needed.
Praia da Poca Estoril

Estoril beachfront offers great beaches, a wonderful promenade that stretches for kilometers and kilometers and has loads of restaurants and pubs and offers great cycling, jogging or walking opportunities.
On my walk from São João do Estoril to Cascais, the Poça Beach reminded me of my grandchildren every step: a clean water, you can see the fishes through it, with natural (? ) pools.

Just the perfect set for that warm summer day, where you just want to relax by the seaside, catch some sun, grab your quality time, go for a occasional swim... 500 meters from Guincho beach, water temperature stil...
Beautiful, quiet beach.

The beach, like all the beaches in that area, has its wild look that makes us feel we are in a special place.
The beach looked too wild for swimming but it’s fabulous for a walk along the shore to be wind blown by the sea mist .

Few steps from Cascais City Centre and you are in this nice beach(which gets its name from the Palace that overlooks it), which is full of people on a sunny day.
My favorite Cascais beach to be with the kids

This beach is probably marginally closer to Cascais than it is Estoril but it’s fairly accurate to say that it sits between these two towns, and as such is probably less utilised than the more central beaches.
Praia das Moitas has nice fish and seafood restaurants, sandy and charming beach , busy by good weather, this beach is to recommend.
