Miradouro de Santa Iria Ribeira Grande
#7 of 114 Sights & Landmarks in Azores
The quite isolated and lofty location means that Santa Iria was very peaceful, serene and beautiful - great views as you might expect, with only the flight of a large bird of prey (Goshawk?) to distract us.
The view of the Northern coasts, cliffs and countryside is stunning.
